| About: | Will you be chosen to join our ranks? We have all walked the line. Now it's your turn. A few deceptively simple questions, answered with a little intellectual savvy and lucidity, and you may be communing with us, paricipating in the development of a new collective intellectual archetype. Our community wrestles with the ideas that will one day change the world... Okay, maybe we're not there yet. But every group needs to have goals. Ours are just a tad more ambitious than most! Unlike other rating communities, we understand that the greatest beauty, indeed the brightest brilliance, can only be found within. Our members are highly cerebral, artsy, scientific, and inwardly beautiful. There is one uniquely important rule: no one may post a picture of themselves in their application or within the community. Even if intentions are benign, people tend to be unduly influenced by appearances. That is partly what this community is designed to avoid. -You may not post or comment outside of your application until you are accepted. -Majority of YESs or NOs indicate whether or not you are accepted; usually before 3 days time. -Once you have been accepted, you must post a discussion topic within 7 days. -When applying, please put "New Applicant" in the subject line. -Applications must be behind an LJ cut. -Absolutely no pictures of yourself. -Participation in community dialogue is mandatory for continued membership. -Please apply within 24 hours of joining the community, otherwise you will be removed.
