I don't know what this lovely building is called, just that it was painted white and had most of its windows replaced in 2005 but has remained for sale for years. Nobody uses it, it seems nobody wants it.

New windows, still with tags.

Attached building, I see a way in.

The front has marble steps and looking inside I can see marble on the walls and floors. This building had to have been lovely.

Looking down a cave like entryway at the back of the building. That gray and black thing is a burnt pair of underwear.

Piles of vents and air shafts, behind them boxes of hinges and bolts. I think the renovation was stopped after the hurricanes.

The sign against the white door says "Danger Do Not Open Doors." I wonder why?

Moving to the "sink room." I've no idea what else to call it, it's a room of lovely sinks, mirrored vanities and large windows (which I am taking the pictures through.)

Someone recently left behind a pair of glasses, sorry about the reflection on the window, I couldn't get the angle and block it at the same time
.
One day I won't be alone in my picture taking adventures, this was just a spur of the moment thing I did while I just happened to be in the crumbling downtown area. I've one more set to post and I'll do that tomorrow. I hope you've all enjoyed these!
