that takes half the fun away, being a history buff I love to research places like this, read about what happened to them that they are left that way. I've yet to look for abandoned places in my area, though I will soon and I certainly wouldn't invade someone else's places without invite. Just wanted to know what I was looking at and why it makes me feel so sad to see it.

Yeah, I understand your interest, but the open information about this site in web can damage to it. Thats why I cant tell, what is it...

Wow! Usually completely empty places are quite boring but this is just amazing because the interior of the building is just so beautiful. Is the last photo really from the same site? Looks very different... first photo is from the front of the building and the last from the back?

How did the mystery building manage to decay so artfully? I guess this is what happens when something is allowed to decay on its own terms, without intervention from vandals.

Absolutely incredible.

The video is extraordinary, especially paired with the music. I'm almost at a loss for words, because this place feels like it came out of one of my dreams. I'm guessing it's in Russia? Don't answer that -- I don't want anyone to find out where it is and ruin it. Thanks so much for sharing.

nice building!
I realize you don't want to give the location, but can you say anything about the residents, or the architect?

One of the more creative things I have lately seen done with abandoned place photography. I like it a lot.
