Author's Notes: I can't believe that I almost forgot to pimp this. This fanfic is a request I fulfilled for zuko_lollipop because she made some awesome banners and I thought you guys may enjoy it too, since she requested a Toph/Aang version on the finale.

And to avoid the whole "Aang letting go of Katara" debate, here's my explanation of what has happened before this fanfic. Aang realises that his feelings for Katara have been distracting him from his Avatar duties. After much councilling from Guru Pathik he decides that he cannot do anything about these feelings for Katara unless she feels the same and he's starting to doubt that Katara even thinks of him in a romantic light. Saying that this makes Aang a little depressed is an understatement.

Note:  I'm a newbie here.  *waves*  I'm also completely new to this fandom but I've loved Toph from the start.  I was browsing a fanart site this evening and it inspired me to write this little thing here.  I don't really know Toph's character that well, so forgive me if I make huge mistakes.  For the most part, however, I think I did okay.  (By the way, anyone know where to get some good Avatar icons?)
