WELCOME to

a_to_z_prompts

This is a multi-fandom community where you're challenged to write 26 stories according to 26 prompts from A to Z, for your favorite pairing, character or series.

> The 26 letters in the alphabet
> 1 character/pairing from your favorite TV series/book/movie... or original universe.
> 14 tables.
> Custom tables.
> 1 specific order.
> Choose what you write.

JOIN THE COMMUNITY
Then
1 - Pick a pairing. It can be anything except RPF/RPS. You might want to check the Works in Progress section. Several persons can claim the same challenge at the same time as long as they don't play with the same table.
2 - Choose a table.
3 - Choose an order
a. ALPHABETICAL ORDER
b. REVERSED ALPHABETICAL ORDER
c. RANDOM ORDER
4 - Decide what you want to write
a. Drabbles (pick a word count, 100, 200 or 300 words)
b. Ficlets (between 500 and 1,000 words)
c. Fan fiction (+ 1,000 words)
d. Free writing
5 - Claim your challenge. Once your claim has been accepted and you've been granted posting access, you can post your stories!
6 - Read the posting requirements to know what to put in the subject, headers and tags.
7 - Now, take a pen, a piece of paper and let the inspiration go... :)

2. Read and follow the community rules.
3. NO plagiarism.
4. Up to 2 claims for the same member as long as it's from a different character/pairing/series AND with a different table.
5. No time limit. Take all the time you need, I know how sometimes things don't go as smoothly as expected, but if you know you won't be able to complete your challenge please drop it.
6. Lj CUT please whether linking directly to the community or your own journal.
7. Anything rated above R has to be FRIEND ONLY, and violence, graphic adult themes mentioned in the WARNINGS/SPOILERS label of the story header.
