Approved by Mod. Thank you! :)

Hello everyone,

The Japanese fans are collecting hand-written fan messages in Japan to send to Arashi, in conjunction to their 10th Year Anniversary.
They have agreed and are happy to include fan messages from around the world too!
After receiving all the messages, their designer and friends will help to combine everything and bind it.

My friend, Ling, is helping to collect fan messages from around the world, then send it to the Japanese organiser.

So, here's the guideline:
There are 3 ways to send your message, by post, scan then email, and BBS. Please choose one way.

By Post:
1. Download this template. (Mirror link) MU
2. Print it out in A4 paper.
3. Write your messages to Arashi in one of the boxes given. If possible, please partner with another fan, meet up and write both messages in the 2 boxes available.
4. VERY IMPORTANT: This is not a fan letter, but a message of congratulations to Arashi. If the message does not follow the guidelines, it cannot be sent.
5. Try to write the message in simple english so Arashi can understand it. Or if you can, write in Japanese.
6. To get the address to send your message, please email je.playground@gmail.com with the title "Address please", plus your name (as written on your message), lj username, and country in the email.
7. The deadline (to receive your message) is 23 June 2009. This is quite rushed because we have to meet the Japanese's deadline 30 June 2009.

By Email (if you can't meet the deadline to sending by post):
1. Scan your message, the whole A4 sized template.
2. Send it to je.playground@gmail.com with the title "Please print message", plus your lj username in the email.
3. We will help you to print it out.
4. Deadline: 23 June 2009
OR
1. Write the message using your computer e.g. if you have those pen and pad to transfer writing to screen. With the template as the base.
2. Send it to je.playground@gmail.com with the title "Please print message", plus your lj username in the email.
3. We will help you to print it out.
4. Deadline: 23 June 2009

By BBS:
The deadline is 30 June 2009.

Q&A:
Q. Can I include drawings and decorations?
A. Yes, you can. But the main thing is the message, so please include your message too.
Q. Do I have to write my exact full name or can I just write first name?
A. This is really up to you.
Q. Do I have to write my exact age and birth year?
A. If you want, you can. But for privacy reasons, you can just write your age group and birth year in decades e.g. 1980s.
Q. Can it be colored?
A. Yes.
Q. If I color it, scan it and email to you, will you print it out in color?
A. Yes, I will.

DO NOT:
1. Use more than one box for your message. One box per fan.
2. Decorate outside the box.

ohh and btw, just a question. are we going to write EXACTLY the year we were born and age? or just the year and/or age group?
23rd-May-2009 11:40 am (UTC)
Hi there, you can just write the year in decades, like 1970s, etc and age group. If you want to write the exact year, you can do so too. Thanks!

Oh it's just normal plain white paper, but the size has to be A4. I'm sure you can get it anywhere in bookstores, computer shops etc. Hope that helps!
