PREMISE You, the mun, apply here as a character. Say you want to be Naruto or something. So, you apply as Naruto, and we, the mods, assign Naruto into a family. Say there's a Leon, or some other notably older character who's applied as a guardian. POOF! You belong in that happy little Leonhart family. Depending on the guardians, the child will either have been adopted or born of the mother. This is up to the head of the family to decide. This should induce copious amounts of crack and fun. However, if your character is 18 and over, they may reside by themselves, start their own family, or if attending college, live in the dorms.

The Office is a multi-billion dollar company that somehow has managed to tap the market of many universes to pull itself to number one. The Company (The name being The Company seeing as the head of the marketing department [who passed away] saw it fit to name it something simple so that people would aways say in conversation 'What is the name of The Company where Jimmy works?' and they already knew the answer giving them a slight boost in ego) produces everything, sometimes good in nature, sometimes bad. Everything is always good business. Competition for the top spots are fierce, the positions filled with prestige, the interoffice drama thick with suspicion, tension, betrayal and perhaps even love?

Do you have what it takes to make it at The Office?

HOW TO PLAY

The entire premise of the game is that the characters you apply for are in an alternate universe- meaning that your characters have a different canon than presented in their fandom/series. Somehow, through some method (be it word of mouth, checking your e-mail, letter in a bottle, sea turtles - anything) you heard about this company, and seeing it as an opportunity, you decide to join. You submit your resume and you are brought here (if accepted).

This is my first post in this community, so I hope it's not bad! Hrmm...the only Kairi pairings I'm really a fan of are SoraKairi and KairiNamine. I'm currently reading a RoxasKairi though. Humm...and that's it I suppose! ^_^ Here is something you might want to check out though.

It was a quiet day on the outer islands of Destiny Islands. The sand was warm, the waves were rolling, the wind was blowing and the sun was shining. For everyone there, this was what they called a “perfect day”. And for most kids, it was. In the distance, Tidus and Selphie were teasing Wakka by stealing his beloved blitzball and the three were now running around the whole island, chasing each other.

Kairi would’ve loved to join too, if it wasn’t for the fact that 2 boys were missing.

She was sitting on the island where Sora and Riku always trained, right on top of that tree Riku loved to lean back on. Looking out into the big open sea, she sighed. It had been 6 long months since she had seen Sora or Riku. Without them the islands seemed so…

Empty.

Even with Selphie, Tidus, Wakka and sometimes even her running around, it just wasn’t the same. Tidus had even asked her the other day, “Hey Kairi, have you seen Sora or Riku? I haven’t seen them in forever and I wanna fight ‘em! I’ve gotten stronger y’know!”

At this, Kairi had giggled, Tidus was so adorable when he tried to act tough. Unfortunately she had to answer him with a no.

She sighed again. Today was important too! But no, Sora had to be off adventuring!

For Pete’s sake, it was his birthday! Sighing once again, she jumped off the tree and went for a walk.

Kairi glanced down at what looked like a seashell necklace and glared at it. She still remembered exactly how it had gotten into her hands when they should’ve been with a certain someone.

-Flashback-

It was Sora’s 8th birthday and his parents had decided to let him spend it on the islands with his friends instead of throwing a party at their house.

“Happy birthday Sora!” yelled a still 7 year old Kairi. Her birthday was coming up in a few months.

“Hehe, still smaller than me.” said a cocky Riku. He was 9 years old after all.

Sora huffed, “It’s not my fault that you were born first! So…how about you give me a present to say sorry?”

Kairi giggled at his action as she fiddled around with her present to him behind her back while Riku looked up at the sky as if in deep thought.

“Hmm…nah! You don’t deserve a present after how naughty you’ve been this year!”

“That’s for Christmas dummy! Now give me my present!”

Riku stuck out his tongue at Sora before running away yelling, “Christmas or not, no one’s gonna give you any presents with that attitude! Haha!”

“Grr, get back here!”

And so began one of Sora’s and Riku’s daily chases. Kairi with her quick thinking stopped Sora before she lost the chance.

“Wait, Sora!” she said as she ran to catch up to him.

Sora stopped and turned around. “What is it? Can you make it quick so I can get Riku back here?”

She giggled once again, “Here, happy birthday Sora.”

With that, she gave him a hand-made necklace made of miniature hermit crab shells.

Sora stared at in awe. “Wow, did you make this for me Kairi? It’s so cool!”

She nodded, “Yup! I just wanted to give you somethin’ special for your birthday, so I made it!”

“Thanks a lot!” said Sora as he gave her a big hug, “This is the coolest thing I’ve ever gotten!”

Smiling, she replied, “Your welcome! Just promise not to ever take it off, ‘kay?”

Sora looked confused, “How come?”

Kairi gave a huge grin before turning away and running after Riku, “Because silly, it’s from a friend. You’re supposed to keep it forever!”

Sora nodded, as if he knew this the whole time, “Oh, I see. Hey, wait! Get back here, you’re not supposed to leave the birthday boy alone!”

And so, the three spent the rest of the day running around, with Sora having his new necklace around his neck.

-End Flashback-

Kairi smiled fondly at the memory. She missed those times dearly.

Blinking, she noticed her walk had taken her to the “Secret Place”. Still smiling she looked over the scribbles that had accumulated over the years on the walls.

‘There’s when Selphie and I tried to draw our Prince Charmings…and that’s when Riku drew his so called castle…Wakka tried to draw the sea…here’s where Tidus drew some odd cloud shape…and of course, here.’

Kairi stopped, looking at the one drawing that was most special to her. The drawing where Sora drew Kairi, Kairi drew Sora and Sora secretly gave her a paopu fruit…and where Kairi gave him a paopu fruit back.

Starting to feel tears on her eyes she wiped them away with her arm, but failed when they came over and silently slid down her cheeks. Feeling the strength in her legs fade away, she slowly slid onto the ground and stared at the picture.

Kairi reached out with her hand and touched the picture of Sora. For some reason, it gave her comfort just doing that. She smiled once again, it was so silly! Feeling happy because of some drawing!

Taking a rock nearby, she drew the seashell necklace around Sora’s neck, where it should’ve been.

Laughing while she was still crying and drawing, she called out, “Sora you bum! I can’t believe you’re missing your special day!”

Standing in front of the full body mirror hanging from her door, Kairi observed her mother's handy work. It was Senior Prom, and her mother had created with care a beautiful pink dress for her beloved daughter. The lacy top covered her shoulders delicately, plunging down slightly, to reveal the faintest of cleavage. It puffed out slightly at the bottom, silk roses sewn to the bottom. The whole dress shown in the light of her room dreamily. She was a princess for a night.

"You look lovely," came a voice from behind.

Kairi glanced back at her Nobody lounging on her bed, a similar dress on, but completely white. Her translucent body sat perfectly still as she smiled at Kairi, giving her a loving look.

Kairi smiled back. "Thank you."

At first it had been odd to have this almost mirror image girl appear at random in her life. Kairi knew no one else could see her, or hear her, which made it a little awkward trying to hold a conversation in a public place. She also found that whatever she looked like, Namine would appear to be, like a perfect-mirrored image of her. When she wore a certain dress, Namine would appear in that same dress, except in an all white version. If Kairi had been crying over and argument with Sora or Riku, Namine would appear with eyes red and swollen, as if she herself was crying. It was a major contrast from her usual plain white dress, and knowing smiles.

At the front door, a knock was heard, and her mother's elated voice came up the stairs.

"Kairi! Sora's here!"

"Coming!" She shouted back. "I have to go Nami-"

Namine was no longer on the bed.

Kairi turned to find Namine standing beside her, holding her hand.

"Then you'd better hurry up," Namine said, smiling, but Kairi couldn't shake the feeling that there was something very sad in those words, as if something wonderful had just ended. She glanced at Namine questioningly.

Namine smiled, and pulled Kairi into a hug. She sighed as Kairi wrapped her arms around her as if this was their goodbye. But Namine knew this was foolish, they'd be together for a long, long time.

Pulling back, she laid her hands gently on both of Kairi's shoulders, and leaned in to place a kiss on the girl’s lips. As she kissed her, Namine slowly started to disappear into Kairi's subconscious once again.

'I love you...' she thought idly as she stepped back into the mind of her Somebody.

An RPG ad for an AU-Multifandom-Pirate RPG

The year is 2645 AD. The world is going backwards.

The earth began to experience a slow downward spiral beginning in the 21st century, where the powers of the world grew hungrier and hungrier. Their greed drove them to take and take and take, and so the planet's resources began to dwindle. The abuse of the world, contributed to by pollution, war, and hate, caused it to begin to slowly fall apart. Yet they pushed for advancement, in attempts to make life as simple and complete as possible; ultimately, they failed, and only made things worse. The government could not see, but the citizens did.

The Power and the People began to split. The two took on these personas, aptly fitting their titles, and thus began the silent war of regression. A worldwide rebellion began to slowly take shape, and those that valued the earth realized what they must do to survive: reverse history. While the governments encouraged the planet to continue along a path that would ensure destruction, many of those who knew the truth forced a change on their lives; they began to remove more and more of the modern-day technology and innovations from their lives, little by little, adjusting.

Existence moved into a checkmate. Time, for now, was frozen. The People would not change, and there was nothing the Power could do to force their ways upon them. Try as they might, they only pushed them farther. The world, by now, hand become like something out of a science fiction novel, a historical steampunk of existence, and it was as if the 17th century was happening all over again. While the lands controlled by the Powers "thrived" with metal and smoke and oil, the People looked to the earth and sea, neglected the "new ways" and progressed through their backwards renaissance.

With the birth of the 27th century, soon followed the mythology and legend of the day. Out of the sepia-stained papers that recorded the tales of yore came a fantastical cast of characters from the past: namely, the age of the pirate began again. Not only its people, but its ways and beliefs, even the legends of fantastical creatures such as the mermaid and kraken were breathed life into once again.

This is where our story begins. It is an echo of the stories told long ago, so brilliant and fascinating they bore repeating. And so we shall.

These are the lives of the gentlemen of fortune. This is the sweet trade.

corrupted_dawn is an alternate universe Kingdom Hearts roleplay that takes place two years after Kingdom Hearts 2. So, SPOILERS. Yeah.

We REALLY need Riku, Kairi, and King Mickey. D: REALLYREALLY badly. Buuuuuut, you don't necessarily have to play those characters. o-o; Nooooope. You can play canon Organization characters [Demyx? -bounces-], original Organization characters, original characters, and any canon character under the sun. o.o But, we SERIOUSLY need Squall, Yuffie, Aerith, etc. in Traverse Town. Seifer's good too. LAMERZ. D:

Now, for the plotine:

It was only two years ago that Sora and Riku defeated Xemnas, in the end defeating all of the Organization members. It was only when they returned home that trouble started once again.

"Look." Kairi said, showing the two boys a message in a bottle. The emblem on it. "The king!?" Sora exclaimed as he snatched the bottle out of Kairi's grasp and pulled out the letter with a rush of excitement. The threesome gazed at the letter with excitement, each gaining different expressions as their eyes gazed at it even more.

Sora -

There's trouble brewin' once again and I need you to get on the train to Twilight Town as soon as you can. It looks like the Organization is gone for good yet...

Sora just stared blankily at the letter, going over the words with his deep blue eyes about four or five times before he took it in. "Looks like you're not done being the keyblade master yet," Riku stated through the silence while Sora let out a groan. "But why do I have to go?"

What happened next, no one knows. Sora disappeared and King Mickey left Disney Castle just after he was gone. Maybe, it was just a plot. Even if it was, there was still no explaining as to why Roxas was back. Riku and King Mickey set off to find the keyblade master only as news got out that there was a new keyblade master, as if taking Sora's place. But, whoever the keyblader is, they have a very big connection with Organization XIII...

PAIXAO: A KINGDOM HEARTS RPG; since January '06!

APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN TO ALL SERIES.

Sora has locked the doors to all the worlds, but does one remain? Like a vacuum, it sucks beings from other places into its own, yet the reason for this is unknown. Dimensions cross in this place; anyone can come across anything, even different versions of people they once knew—both those alive, and those that have passed on—for there is more than one physical body and more than one time connected to every heart.

Whoever they may be, all that are chosen have to come find themselves in a very peculiar city—both its citizens and setting are timeless and innocent, resembling, perhaps, something pulled out of a children's fairytale, yet the situation at hand is only a premise for darker things.

The world of Paixao is indeed a curious one; the entirety of it seems to be encased within various domes divided into sections which change according to weather and time. There are neither plants nor animals in this place, simply faux representations of such: formed of stone, glass, fabric, and other materials—and in spite of this, food and drink is mysteriously plentiful. Its people are all blond and blue eyed, one-dimensional in personality, and apparently lacking the desire to question the workings of their existence.

The only creatures that inhabit the world, besides the citizens and the souls transported to the city, are strange white, blue-eyed creatures: Lumens. It's easy to compare them to Heartless, or rather, their opposite—it is easy to see they are the creatures born from a heart completely encompassed with light. They come in all shapes and sizes, sometimes even resembling the wildlife Paixao otherwise lacks. How they got there, why they are there, or who put them there is beyond anyone's knowing; however, thus far, they seem to be relatively harmless—if not helpful—beings that live true to their name. But as the saying goes... it is possible to have too much of a good thing.

Kairi, pink dress + new to the community!

This costume was a LOT of fun to make, and a lot of fun to wear. The top/hood/dress are made out of stretch cotton blends, and the bag/belt out of upolstery vinyl--cheap stuff, but works perfectly for this cosplay. :) The shoes are generic chucks bought at Kmart, bleached three times and then dyed the appropriate color. The zippers aren't 100% accurate, and are just basted-in placeholders until I sew the other zips in... they arrived yesterday, and look AWESOME. I can't wait to share. :)

Speaking of zippers, I forgot to zip the top down a bit when we were taking these yesterday... oops. ^_^;;; Also, my wig does have bangs, but I am unused to them and kept sweeping them outta my face. x.x;; Ima dork. ^^;

I'm working on the keyblade right now, and I'll post pics of that (plus new costume photos) this weekend. :)
