This is another one of those icon journals. This lovely little place belongs to a_gal. Everything in this journal is for your taking, unless otherwise noted. Please take time to read over the rules before asking questions. If your question is still unanswered, please comment here and be patient.

a_gal is based in New Zealand: Where sheep are sheep, and men play rough games of rugby and grope each other while drinking beer.

a_gal has lived in New Zealand pretty much her whole life, but her family were originally evil POMs who fled the crazy dictatorship of Britain because of a fear of a French toast invasion. Due to this British heritage, a_gal is pasty white. a_gal does not tan. a_gal curses high UV amounts in the atmosphere over NZ thanks to sneaky cows farting away the ozone layer. Those damned methaney arses!

In the Land of the Long White Cloud (Aotearoa), three miaows and a subwoofer call Casa a_gal home - but only on the days ending in a 'y'. And who can blame them? The food's good, hugs are plentiful, and back scritches are a regular morning and evening activity. There's always a lap to sit on if you're feeling lazy. Or, if you're the more active type, there's also polo, trampolining, porn star lessons, and jigsaws (for the young 'uns).

1. Comment
Yes you may add this journal, you don't have to ask. Don't be disheartened if time goes by and I don't add you back, I'm slack like that. And I don't spend a lot of time over here, other than when posting or reading comments. But no need to worry, everything on this journal is public and always will be.
Please do leave a comment. Not only does it make me feel all warm and gooey inside, but it also lets me know where the icons are going. When taking icons try to be more specific than "taking some", use the numbers for each icon, that way I know which icons are most popular, and which I should make more of.

2. Credit
This spreads the word and is a simple courtesy for the work that goes into them. Credit can be given to either a_gal_icons or aotearoagal. Either is fine by me.

3. Don't Customise
Please do not customise any of these icons unless I state it's ok - do not take it upon yourself to customise them. It's always more fun to utilise your own creativity and come up with something new than to customise an existing icon :0P
If it's ok to make ch-ch-changes, I will let you know. Textless icons are not bases.

4. Don't Hotlink
My server only has so much give before it's all gived out. Bandwith is hard to come by these days, and hotlinking is plain rude.

5. Suggest/Requests
I (DON'T) DO REQUESTS. Though, feel free to make suggestions if you feel your fandom is grossly unrepresented. That may be all it takes to inspire me. However, due to dreaded Real Life Syndrome (RLS), I may not be able to fulfil your request in a timely manner in every instance. And remember that a suggestion is just that - a suggestion. I am under no obligation to actually make them, though - time and boredom-levels willing... *shrugs*
(Note: Pestering does not equal asking nicely. Pestering will just make me dislike you. A lot.)
If you want an icon updated with your username on it or would like it with or without text and/or a certain effect, I am generally willing to do that. However, I don't normally do requests unless I'm incredibly bored.
