So, I've been thinking. I don't think I'm quite ready to get back into panfandom, due to my inherent flakiness and the fact I have the attention span of a ferret. So, I'll pull out now, rather than going into a coma, cuz that just isn't fair.

Welp, all right gang. I am calling a slowatus.

The reason?

I am getting kicked out of my house in two weeks. I have a roommate and one job lined up, but I need to have an apartment and a second job and all of my worldly possessions packed up in those two weeks.

So suffice to say, I'm kind of losing my shit over here, and I've got a lot to get done by the kick date.

Fac is my stress relief and my love, so I'll still be around when I can, but my presence will be greatly reduced. And... right now it's a slowatus, but it'll probably turn into a hiatus at some point as all this happens.

Sooo, I'm just going to post this early because life punched me in the face.

February is crunch time in the IB program and I'm trying to get the last of my internal assessments out of the way just as we start revision for our finals and I have my last concert on Wednesday, so this week I'm on slowatus.

On a better note I think, I'm off the the glorious US of A next week to visit all the colleges I applied too. I'm going to try and nab the internet wherever I can, but even if I do, it'll be erratic since I'm going from East to West before coming back to dear old Europe. So if any of you happen to be at Clark, Wesleyan, Brandeis, Occidental or Pitzer College/University, I might see you around next week!

Yeah, I'll be around today, tomorrow and maybe Friday, then sporadically next week. If I'm here, it'll be at times I've never been on before. Damn time zones. I'll be back, though jet lagged on the 23rd.

Hey, guys! Congratulations, you made it through Week Fifty-four. The adults may now all collapse into a heap and sleep for a week straight. Best. Birth control. Ever.

First order of business, it’s Sunday, and time for reset. Everybody is still in Facility 1. Also, the FAQ has lots of fun facts on how resets work, how things can be modified, and the nerfs that take place there. Any art on the walls or general kiddy destruction outside of personal rooms is gone. The ball bit, jungle gym, and all of the extra toys are also gone.

Everybody is the correct age. Anything carrying over from the kiddy state is at writer's discretion (injuries, drawing on themselves, etc.). All memories of the week remain.

The experiment for week 54 will be general annoyance. Consider this pay back from the interns. The decor of the facility has become something frightening. There are neon colors on the walls, black lights, disco balls, that sort of thing. Personal rooms are up to the writer's discretion on what's in there, but the big rooms? Very, very tacky. The rec area looks like a cheesy disco party. The cafeterias? Raves gone bad. The biodome is untouched. If your character wants to find some tacky clothing accessories in their closet along with their regular clothes, like a big pimp hat or platform shoes with a goldfish in the heel? Go ahead.

On Wednesday, the characters will be rearranged in their sleep. They will wake up in bed with someone else at random. Insomniacs can be confused on how this happened, because they don't remember falling asleep. The pairings are mod assigned and will be posted tomorrow. Also this week will be a suite log, most likely posted on Tuesday but it will be open all week (or until everyone is done). This is for random interaction between roommates. This can be anything from watching the nature scenes together, fighting over the bathroom, or complaining about the thumping noises heard all night. Great chance to meet roommates and build up some new CR. Finally, by popular request, there will be an intern post on Friday. Time to dust off those intern journals and let's see what the survivors are thinking about things.

Wow, it's only been... two weeks?  And I'm being forced to call in a slowatus (I really should have done this earlier).  Basically, I decided to be an idiot and enroll in seven different classes at college, and guess how many of them have multiple midterms?  That's right, almost all of them.  So for the next couple weeks I'm going to be scarce, studying and freaking out over my midterms!  Yay!

I'm really sorry to the people I've got threads going with.  I'll try to get responses to you in a timely manner but... no guarantees, sadly.  ='(  Just... say that Raine's a pretty quiet child and is just sticking around in the background. 

Celena is now dead, sorry boys and girls! She decided to run herself a bath so Sakura could help wash her hair, but unfortunately overbalanced as she tried to turn off the water and bumped her head hard on the side, which left her dazed long enough that there were unfortunate consequences when she fell in the water.

She'll be back in four days, so expect adult Celena on Tuesday.

So... did my taxes this morning, same site I've used for the last 4 years.... and now I have this happy little virus on my pc that has my poor laptop so jacked up its not even funny. So calling slowatus until I can get that figured out. I can do some stuff from my phone but it's soooooo much slower.

Hopefully my mom can fix it for me pretty quick but if not imma diiiiieeee of withdrawal. I'll still be on AIM with my phone though so if you need to get ahold of me I'll be around.

Because I'm super busy at another game and with school, I'm going to have to drop Facility. (If you have no idea who I am, no worries, I've been totally terrible at posting and you've probably never even seen me before XD.) I'm disappointed in myself for not being able to keep up. :| Maybe when things straighten out I'll re-app in the future!

My computer is officially incapable of connecting to the internet as of mid last week, which leaves me borrowing my Dad's computer when I can to get online to pretty much check email. (His computer is magnificently slow, so much so that it might in fact compete with glaciers for annual forward movement.) It's been a slow death for my laptop over the last three weeks, and now I'm going to try and see if I can get it fixed, or else get my netbook set up so I can be around.

My apologies to those I've left without responses, I'm going to try the netbook solution tonight, and see how much I can get down with my remaining piece of internet capable hardware. If anyone minds backtagging, let me know, since once I get things working for more than five minute intervals, that's my main plan of action. Also, getting Liz intro'd on network; I'm so sorry guys. If there's anything I've missed you think I should know about, for either character, please let me know here.
