A Tony Robinson interview on UK Teletext talked about the Blackadder team meeting and discussing the show's return:

"Exclusive by Todd Florance - The cast of classic sitcom Blackadder will meet later this year to discuss a revival.

The get-together will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its BBC2 debut.

Tony Robinson, bumbling sidekick Baldrick on the show, told Teletext: "We always had a fantasy of doing it again in 2010, so we'll be having that conversation. I would love to do it and suspect Rowan Atkinson would too."

The series saw Atkinson play the fiendish Edmund Blackadder in different periods of British history.

Robinson admitted to some nerves about revisiting the show. "Whatever we come up with, half the people will say it's not as good as they remember," he said.

"But that is flattering. It's become one of the iconic pieces of late-20th century British culture. It's something that every performer dreams of.""

There have been rumours before of a revival. In any event, let's hope it comes to more than the rumour posted about almost two years ago to the day in this community about a new Blackadder film set during the Russian Revolution, and the others!

Blackadder fandom help

Can anyone help edit the Blackadder article on Fan History? The article currently is lacking information. :/ It could really use a few people adding a few details here and there to help improve it. Fan History is also trying to create a directory of Blackadder fans. There are currently 22 articles. It would be nice to get a few more or improve the existing articles. Any help would thus be very much appreciated. :)

Hi everyone! I'm an American gal, 19 years old, and I just wanted to say hi after my brief post in the poll. I love Blackadder and all his little wizards (esp. Balders, Percy, Queenie, and George). I'm glad there is a place for fans to meet, as I am sad to admit that I don't know too many people who've even heard of this great show. I got into it after becoming a Hugh Laurie fan (hope it doesn't sound like I'm on the bandwagon. Lots of people here don't even know he's british, and that's definetley not me!) My dad and I love to sit and watch the show, and I can't pick a favorite series out of 2,3, or 4...and the finale had me in tears. My enthusiatic contrafibularities to everyone, and have a lovely day.
