Want to re-read all five Harry Potter books before HBP is released in July? This is the place for you.

We will start the reading marathon on March 1 and will read Chapter 38 of OotP on July 10, which will give us an entire week to squee about the release of HBP.
To cut down on spamming of your flist, we will have one post per chapter, with member's reviews/thoughts/ideas being put in the comments portion.

As far as fan art, fan fic and RPG’s, there are so many communities out there they couldn’t possibly all be listed here. Utilize the LJ search feature and I’m sure you will find what you are looking for.
This is a community about the books, not the movies or how the movies have deviated from the books. Keep your observations to canon only. Since we aren’t talking about the movies, there should be no need to reference any of the actors, to praise or criticize, in any way.
THIS IS NOT A SHIPPING COMMUNITY.
This is not a community to debate the logic of your ship and the idiocy of other ships. There are plenty other LJ communities that are created for that purpose alone. Go there. Don't bring your beligerent shipping attitude here. If you want to cite examples of what you think shows a potential Remus/Sirius relationship in PoA, feel free. Even a 'this is where it all started for Ron and Hermione for me' is fine. It is when simple comments become a raging debate that we will step in.
No character bashing. We all have our favorites, but as soon as you start bashing a character, or a user for their preferences, your post will be deleted. Continue to do it and you will be banned.

Book 6 (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) Comes out July 16th, 2005. The ACAD schedule will end one week before HBP comes out.
Movie #4 (Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire) is coming out November 18, 2005.
This is a community for all ages. Keep the profanity to a minimum, non-existent is even better. No smutty icons, please.
