| About: | Ashes to Ashes is a spin-off from the acclaimed BBC series Life on Mars, and began filming in 2007. It is currently being broadcast at 9pm Thursdays on BBC1. It stars Philip Glenister, who has stepped back into the shoes of DCI Gene Hunt, only this time, the Gene Genie is on the loose in the eighties! He is joined once again by DS Ray Carling (Dean Andrews) and DC Chris Skelton (Marshall Lancaster). Not only does he have to cope with soft Southerners down in London, and it being 1981, but he also finds he has a new *female* DI - Alex Drake (Keeley Hawes) and a new 'plonk' WPC Shaz Granger (Montserrat Lombard). This community welcomes analysis, thoughts, speculation, fanfiction, theories, screengrabs, icons, wallpapers and just about anything else Ashes to Ashes related! Just remember to play nicely - we're all here to have fun! And please bear in mind that there are younger users on here too.
