This is a community for anyone who loves the following: Kinderwhore, EGL, candy hearts, Courtney Love, Katie Jane Garside, Jessicka, blood, dolls, tea parties, Victoriana, girlie-girl, Hello Kitty, Lolita, pink and black, vintage dresses, Hole, Babes in Toyland, Kat Bjelland, Katastrophy Wife, faeries, witches, flowers, Valentines, razorblades, Go-Go, ... if you're still reading, then you already get the idea.
This is the group for you if you love being, or admiring, the Kinderwhore/girlie-girl/EGL culture and want to share your pictures, poetry, questions, fashion tips, special events, or just discuss anything related.
Of course, there have to be rules (booo!!). I know that sucks, but here they are:
- No posts that are not in some way related to the community's theme.
- If you post an ad for the same items for sale more than once, please make the links after the first one text-only. There has become somewhat of a problem with people posting the same large pictures day after day. The first time it's noticed, you'll be warned. After that, the extra picture posts will be deleted.
- No hate posts, (ie., sexist, homophobic, racist, size-ist, etc.)
- ONE picture in the regular text of a post, the rest MUST be behind an LJ-cut (ask if you aren't sure how).
- No catfights: If there is a problem, e-mail the moderatrix (me) about it, but threads of malicious posts are a no-no.
- Anything that you can expect might be upsetting to more than a few viewers (ie., very morbid art, pictures that may trigger, etc.), IS allowed, but should be placed behind an LJ-cut with some sort of warning in its text, as
should any nude pics or similar content.
- If you post news of any upcoming events that members may want to know about -- PLEASE include what city/state the event is in. Just make sure it's somewhere in the post, as a courtesy to other members who may get their hopes
up.
- Poetry is welcome, as long as you also post "real" posts sometimes as well. Please be courteous of anyone who posts pictures/poetry; constructive criticism is fine but we're not here to slag one another. This isn't a "rule" per se, just something to keep in mind. =)
- If you can resize images to make them a reasonable file size and window-friendly, you're encouraged to do so. If you can't, don't stress over it, but please do it if you're able.
- Any questions or comments that you think might benefit this community are welcomed, and you can always e-mail the moderatrix (me!) if there's something you want to say to me specifically. Please don't post it in my personal journal, that's all I ask.
