Which is a shame, but I think it was a good learning experience, and I will try out some new styles to compete with other makers. Anyway, here are the things I did in my audition. Hellooo!!!!! [21 Jan 2005|03:52pm] tasheila I'm so sorry I was gone for such a long time. Lots of things happened, went to the states, a bit busy...but expect some icons this weekend. I've also learned to make new styles, not just vintage-y ones, cos I believe to be a really good maker, you have to be a bit broad and smart about things, and know other styles too, not just the ones you specialize in. So would anyone want to see some not really vintage-y icons? <3, Tashie. PS: I hear some LJ drama went on recently, in regards to icons. Just a warning: If you take stuff from Xanga that the icon makers over at Xanga say they made it, please be sure. A lot of people make the mistake of taking from there, then wham, bam! You are accused of stealing, cos a lot of Xanga makers actually take icons from LJ and say they made it. Please be sure. And I know I don't really have the right so say this, seeing as I've not made icons yet, but just a warning to y'all to please be careful. ( J'adore le Vintage ) Edit: I've realized that people think they have to ask to be added. You guys don't. The FO banner was just there to show it, it dosn't mean anything. Anyone can join. The only time I'l FO the comm is when it gets too big, or when I find out people haven't been CaC (comenting and crediting) and have been hotlinking. So don't make me have to do it.
