not only is he awesome and a hopeless romantic likemyself (or at least it appears so through his lyrics.) but this song is one of his many that somewhat show my outlook on life.

I got my heart broken, gave it up again, got it broken worse, went back to the first heartbreak since he seemed to have changed, no assumptions based on words but on actions... and he broke me again. I stopped believeing in love, in life, in giving, in sharing, in expecting what you give in return, in good people... It sucked

wow! good job sky! lol i would have to say anyones book of escape. Ok now i must explain cause that probably only makes sense to me lol:
my book of escape (which i have not found yet and if you know it when i describe it please do tell me the name) would be one that has a love story gone bad and a heart restored by real love, a crazy successful woman with a stressful life that she wouldnt want any other way, a dog, friends with their own shit going on... i dont know and real alternate universe to transport to where things go bad and get fixed and people are happy and sad and no one is really getting hurt, its just a book... i hope that helps explain my answer... |

Honestly. I hate this questions. For one, egotistical maniacs will of course brag about how much better than others for whatever reason they created. Strike one - you're not better for the simple fact that you THINK you are. you look down on others. Great, so you're an asshole. (No offense to anyone that answered that way) Secondly, the whiney, low self-esteemed individuals who cry, "I suck, waaaaa" for whatever reason... pity? Who knows. (again no offense to anyone that answered that way). No. Just no. No one is better than anyone else. Everybody has faults. No two people have shared the same hardships in life. You can't compare yourself to someone that didn't live your life. It just can't be done. As far as I'm concerned we are all equal. We get our own fill of shit in our lives and we respond how we see fit. Whether you're a millionaire or some homeless person living on the street, you're still fucking human JUST human... nothing more, nothing less.
...But on the other hand I like this question because it gives you an idea of what a person thinks of themselves as compared to others. Hmph. |

1. Your favorite summer scent? Honeysuckle, it just smells so yummy!

Ok well... per illjustbmethanx's suggestion, I'm going to take a flying leap and answer some questions. I read through them and it just made me feel so warm and fuzzy for one of my favorite times of the year!
1. Your favorite summer scent?
I think the best thing to smell in the summer is bbq. There is nothing better than running around doing errands or whatever all day.. then you come home and smell bbq cooking in the neighborhood. It's almost contageous. The instant you smell it, you know you that just gotta have some too! So you run to the store and grab something to bbq.. and sit outside and drink beer and bbq. Those are the best nights..
2. Favorite movie to watch while you're sitting inside, chillin out in the a/c with 2 of your best friends?
I think that a great movie to watch with your friends is Singles. It's such a classic movie. It's about love and romance and the reality of things between guys and girls. It's also got great music. :)
3. Favorite thing to do when it's almost too hot to move?
Well, since I live in Arizona.. it's always really hot here. I think that the best thing to do when it's that hot is to go out to the pool and get some sun. I'm weird like that, but I tan very easily,and after spending years and years of my life in Oregon where it always rained, I never get tired of being in the sun.
4. Best song to listen to on a warm night, sitting on your front steps?
Best music to listen to on a warm night is anything by Mazzy Star or maybe Ani DiFranco. It's such happy music for me. I love to be able to sit and listen to something that makes me happy and feel peaceful inside. I can sing along with it and pet my kitty cats and just take in the beauty of being outdoors when it's warm.
I'm also adding another question..
5. Favorite part of summer time.
This for me has to be the awesome storms that Arizona gets. We have a monsoon season and during that time we get really cool thunder and lightening storms. Also, during the summer the air gets so hot and full of pollution because of the heat. When the storms come, the rain comes down and everything is sooooo clean and smells so nice. The storms just make me so happy inside. The more violent they are, the happier I am. I once went to Minnesota over the summer. My friend had a hammock on the porch and I fell asleep just sitting out there watching it storm and rain. |
