| Fic: I knew this much |
[25 Mar 2012|12:11pm] |
Title: I knew this much Author: heartequals Pairing: Gen Rating: PG (if that) Summary: For amatara, for help_japan (lol I KNOW. I SUCK). She requested a story dealing with the “Call me crazy, but on you...” scene in 2x15. This story takes place almost immediately after that scene. Albert hates emotional conversations, but he hates seeing Cooper pulled apart even more.

| FAN ART |
[22 Jan 2012|10:52pm] |
I looked at Twin Peaks for the first time recently. And it became my favorite. I am not good at an English sentence. Therefore I drew fan art. If the English sentence that I wrote is wrong, I'm sorry.

[17 Jan 2012|05:25pm] |
rarewomen is a Yuletide-like fanfic exchange for small and large fandoms focusing on women-centric fanfic. Obscure female characters in larger fandoms, as well as all female characters in smaller fandoms, are eligible for nomination. Twin Peaks and all of its women are eligible.
The nominations will run until Janunary 21st. The final request/offers will have to come from the finalized nomination list. So if you have any interest in this, check us out here, and consider submitting your own nominations. We can also use the Twin Peaks thread to coordinate nominations to make sure that we get the maximum number of the numerous awesome women in this canon included.

| 2 fics: "Face of the Moon" (Diane and ensemble) & "Be My Homeward Dove" (ensemble) |
[02 Jan 2012|01:53am] |
I bring two Twin Peaks fics, both written for this year's Yuletide exchange. Hope you enjoy! Feedback and concrit are loved, as always.
Title: Face of the Moon Fandom: Twin Peaks Characters: Diane, Audrey Horne, Albert Rosenfield, Gordon Cole, Harry Truman, Denise Bryson, Dale Cooper. Summary: Diane doesn't work in the spotlights. If Dale is the bright face of the moon, then let her be the other face, the one people don't see. That doesn't mean she's not part of the story. Post-canon. Rating: PG-13 Word Count: 2600 words
(Never before had Dale sent her pictures. Until now. They arrived in a stark white envelope, immaculately sealed, her name and address – work, not private – inked on in perfect block letters. She didn't need to check the return address to know it would be his.)

Title: Be My Homeward Dove Fandom: Twin Peaks Characters: Sarah Palmer, Albert Rosenfield, Harry Truman, Audrey Horne, Dale Cooper. Summary: Five goodbyes in Twin Peaks which really aren't goodbyes at all. Rating: PG-13 Word Count: 2100 words
(Harry felt useless; unreliable. There was a darkness to this town, he'd known that when he took the job. For a while he'd actually had the illusion he could smoke out the evil, fight it from within. He wasn't sure if he still believed it. Not after it had taken Cooper too. If Cooper was corruptible, then all of them were.)

| Fic: By Narrow Domestic Walls |
[01 Jan 2012|05:33pm] |
Title: By Narrow Domestic Walls Author: nemo_everbeing Rating: PG-13 for language Characters: Dale Cooper, Albert Rosenfield Spoilers: Pretty much none. Summery: Albert doesn’t believe in ‘meant to be’. They don’t naturally mesh: Cooper wanted to do over the guest room with reed matting and make a meditation room; Albert wanted to make an office. So they built an office with a Zen garden. Albert appreciates sleek, modern furniture; Cooper likes Eastern antiques. So now their apartment is decked out in sleekly modern furniture imported from Tibet. Albert prefers quiet when he sleeps; Cooper drifts off listening to Tuvan throat singing. Albert has gotten used to earplugs. At each turn, one or both of them have seen their way through to a solution. The result is not so much a ‘normal life’ as it is a life that’s right for them, and insane for everyone else.
