skippy finished her tattoo! i can't wait for it to heal. it will look much better and the bats won't be so damn dark. ignore my stupid face and lip ring that's off to the side.



at first it was just going to be a shading of the banner and bats. but once that was finished we decided it had too much empty space. and i wanted spider webs in it (since i adore spiders). and i really really like dried-up/dead roses, so we put some things together and added that in. things have more meaning to me but i'm not going to get into that. once the rose was there it was eaiser to add the webs.






and its not bleeding, thats just red ink. last time i posted pictures of it some people thought the red was blood. well, it's not. my tattoo is red and black. and it's not sideways either, my arm is just stretched out in front of me so it appears at an odd angle. :)

and I'm working on a half sleeve for my left arm, all waits related.

I love seeing others who've taken Waits word and turned it into tattoo form
