Community Info

1) stealing any work that is not your own is theft will result in you being banned. don't take credit for what isn't yours. (this includes taking work & not giving credit to a user who requires it in their post)
2) each contest will have a subject title. your submissions must include this title in the subject bar if you want your work to be counted.
3) only one submission per user per contest. that's only fair.
4) any submissions that are entered past the due date will not be counted, sorry. just like your 9th grade science teacher always said, "late work will not be accepted!"
5) when you post your image, leave the image on your hosting server until that contest is done. reason? the mods will be using that same image source link for the voting post.
6) when you join, you are automatically allowed to vote, however! you can only vote once for each contest. see HOW TO SUBMIT/VOTE for more info.

each monday, one of the mods will make a post with the info on requirements for the submission. this post will give the following info: subject title, due date, type of work (icon, header, etc.), picture, lyrics. if you have any questions, it is asked that you comment on the post for that monday. your submission should be in a new post that you will create with the appropriate subject title. after the due date, the mods will decide which users will make it onto the next round.

once the due date comes around for submissions, one of them will create a new post including all of the icons. anyone who is a member of the community can vote by simply commenting with the number you are chosing. the voting posts will also have a due date, and once that due date comes around, the winner will be announced. if your submission was an icon, it will become the community's default until there is another winner. if it is a header, your work will be on the community layout for a whole month or until another header contest takes place.
