[10 Sep 2008|01:34am] lostxinmyxworld [ mood | tired ] [ music | Tarja: Dead Gardens/Symphony of Destruction (live in Sao Paulo) ] I think this place needs a little life around here, and seeing as I've found something from Tarja's South American tour, I thought I'd post it in case people haven't seen it. Tarja performed Nightwish's "Dead Gardens" but she did something I found to be extremely interesting with it. After finishing singing all the lyrics just as the instrumental guitar work starts, she stuck a cover of Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction" in. Not just that, but after she finished singing the lyrics of Symphony of Destruction, the song flowed seamlessly back into the outro of Dead Gardens. The first clip I saw/heard of this had bad quality sound so I didn't recognize Symphony of Destruction, though I recognized the guitar riffs. I have to say Symphony of Destruction and Dead Gardens do flow seamlessly in and out of each other. ( Video behind here ) Feel free to share your thoughts. Just remember to be nice and respect others if they have an opinion different to yours. Edit: Sorry I was so tired last night that I didn't really copy the video into here. Oopsies.

Tuomas - he couldn't get over the fact that no matter how many times he straightened it, it never looked sleek. Also, he thought his hair looked better than Marcelo's regardless and tried to get Tarja to see that, but apparently never succeeded. Marco - he couldn't get over the fact that Tarja's hair looked cooler while headbanging, so he grew a beard and still didn't succeed. Emppu - He really didn't care, but the shine of Tarja's hair very often blinded him onstage and thus he had to run around. Jukka - He was just bitter because he has next to no hair. And there you go, the End of an Era began.
