Things We Love About SYTYCD 5
There's been a fair share of both negative and postive comments about the dancers, but the negative comments tend to stick out more (to me anyways). So let's have a post where we just comment on the positive things about this season; be it the dancers, choreography, or the judges.

I posted a request to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) kuponocandance and got little response so I thought I would crosspost here:
I would like to ask a huge favor of anyone willing to contribute. I need to get some good photos/screencaps of Kupono together so I can make some icons and perhaps a header/banner for this community kuponocandance. If anyone has any specific text/coloring they would like let me know. I think people are already interested in some shots from this week's first routine if anyone could oblige!
P.S. How smokin' hot did he look in that addiction number? PHWOAR! |

Well apparently we're not going to see guest dancers on results shows anymore. Tonight Cat said they would be showing previews for the Season 6 auditions instead (they're really pimping that season aren't they?). But what I think they should do is get rid of the awful musical guests and substitute dance guests instead. I think we all enjoy those performances way more anyway! Who's with me? |

Sorry if this topic has been discussed recently...
If you could create a DREAM season...made up only of your favorite top 20 contestants from past seasons, which 10 girls and 10 guys would make the cut? And how would you partner them?
Mine:
Benji Schwimmer / Heidi Groskreutz (yes, it was awkward when the cousins got all hot with each other, but they had SUCH amazing chemistry that I didn't care)
Travis Wall / Allison Holker (Remember Allison dancing on top of him when she was eliminated? ohh baby)
Ivan Koumaev / Donyelle Jones (hip hop heaven)
Dmitry Chaplin / Katee Shean (idk...I just see a good fit)
Neil Haskell / Sara Von Gillern (such incredible entertainers)
Pasha Kovalev / Anya Garnis (must I explain their hotness?)
Jesus Solorio / Natalie Fotopoulos (just seems interesting...they're both so smiley and cute)
William Wingfield / Jamie Goodwin (amazing technique)
Mark Kanemura / Chelsie Hightower (I miss Marksie)
Gev Manoukian / Sabra Johnson (she was great with Dom...I'd love to see her with another, cuter, hip hopper)

I watched Brandon and Jeanette's second routine over and over. I thought it was so clever, and fun. It really made me happy. :)
Anyone else?
Between that and Kayla and Kapono's Addiction routine, I was pretty happy with the night. |

Ok, so I have to ask, because I'm wondering if I'm crazy or not.
Is Phillip the ONLY hip hop dancer in the top 20 this year?
Last year seemed heavily weighted towards the hip hop dancers: Josh, Twitch, Comfort, etc... but this year, nada.
And there's a TON of contemporary dancers this season.
Just my random thoughts. |

Am i the only one freakin excited for new pairings next week? Last year i was dreading it b/c i loved twitch/kerr-- chel/mark --kat/josh together but this season i think they did horrible at putting pairs together ..what do you think? |

hey guys, this is my second time posting here for this season.
this is a pretty open thing. just get your feelings out about who your favorites are. who you want to go home. maybe who you think should be in the top ten. just talk about it all!! i am so interested to hear all your opinions! :D
personally i AM IN LOVE WITH KUPONO!!!!!! and PHILLIP! and i really hope that they stay! :D and make it into the top 4 haha (:
i hope maybe jason goes home tomorrow and caitlin.
favorite girls: JENEINE (sorry i don't know how to spell her name) and kayla! :D
