Don't ask me why I picked that as a subject line, it seemed like a good idea at the time. *shrugs*
How's everyone? I rarely ask that, so tell me!
SOUTH last night!!!! Thank goodness I dvr'd it, because its not on iTunes yet.
( Spoilerish for Ep 3.09 - Career Day )I finished Breaking Dawn literally the day after my last entry. LOVED IT. SO MUCH. I also read another book,
Playground, started it Sunday night and finished it Monday afternoon. It was a pretty good book. I went on a bit of a book binge on Amazon the other day, so I should be occupied for a while.
Didn't get any of the 37 bajillion jobs I've applied for, including the mobile dj gig. That one would have been cool, so it sucks that I didn't get it, but whatevs. *sigh* I'm starting to get all stressed out about not having a job and its starting to make me not be able to sleep at night, like until 2 in the morning. *sighs again* Especially with Christmas coming up and stuff, that's going to be difficult, since I'm more of a present giver than anything. I love buying presents for other people. Well, assuming they're easy to buy for.
Shar had agreed to go with me to this place called The Cafe in S.F., its one of the nightclubs in the Castro (gay district of S.F.), and Steph (Shar's lesbian friend from one of her classes) swears by it, so I'm looking forward to it. Not sure when we'll actually go, but its been discussed. April said she'd go, but now she's worried that she'll get hit on and it could be awkward. *eye roll*
Got a couple shows lined up for SSF for the next couple months, and trying to book more. I hope the guys are ready to be busy!!! Impeller had a show last night, so I went and saw them and pimped myself to the owner and gave her one of our demos. We need to record some new songs...although we need to write them first...hehe.
Ehm, what else? I'm drawing a blank. I want a Canon Rebel XTi, but I'm broke. I love using my mom's, but she won't let me take it anywhere, so that's an epic fail on a small scale. I detest being broke. *grumbles*
Ahkay, I'm out of things to ramble/complain about, so please tell me what's going on with you. And for the love of all that is beautiful and awesome in the world, go read
She's Losing It by Jengrrrl. An EPOCH story of woe and young adulthood.
