abortion: very VERY much against. The mother of one of my best friends was advised by her doctor to "terminate" because the baby "was missing its esophagus." Her mom couldn't go through with it, and you can guess what happened--my friend was born perfectly healthy. Besides, families all over the place are looking for kids to adopt because they can't have their own for whatever reason. If you're having sex and the condom breaks...what are you doing having sex anyways? (You can guess I'm against premarital sex as well). If you can't keep the baby you owe it to him/her (and yourself) to place him/her up for adoption and give them the chance at having a great life...and you might get to meet them again someday. I also have 3 different friends who were born from rapes (one whose mother has Down syndrome, and he was raised by his grandmother--now an extremely successful student at a great private college) so I don't consider that an excuse, rather the silver lining in a very dark cloud. All in all, abortion is the most supreme show of selfishness and carelessness I think a woman is capable of.

teen drinking: I'm completely against drinking and driving (or drinking and then doing other stupid shit to put yourself and others in danger) but like anything else, I believe it can be taken in moderation. Just don't be stupid about it. The drinking age used to be 16 (which I think was dangerous because you get your license at the same time then...) and then it was raised to 18 before being set at 21. If the drinking age were 18 I don't think alcohol would have the same appeal to college students, and they'd also have some practice at knowing how to handle alcohol before going to college.

gay marriage: I think people are making a bigger deal out of it than it really is. The government spends so much time on the topic that its almost embarassing. Everyone should have the right to be happy, and if that means being married to someone the same sex, than thats ok, I mean I don't see the big deal, marriage is a commitment between two pepople, it shouldnt matter who they are.

The law basically says that if u don’t pass the state test then u don’t gradaute even if ur the top of ur class and have all ur credits. I know a girl at my school that is in the honor society and has all her credits but didn’t pass the state test b/c she didn’t know some of the math b/c she was never taught it and they had put latin terms on it. I think that’s bull and graduation should be based on ur grades not if u passed a state test or not.

Abortion: I do believe in abortion. Some times to have a child aren't appropriate and you should be able to have a choice on whether or not to keep a child. However, if you're going to have an abortion, it should be done while the child's still a fetus. I mean, to carry a child until its like 5 months old and then decide "Oh, I want an abortion" that to me is murder. So there are certain extents to abortion, but for the most part if I got accidentally pregnant, It'd so be worth my $300.
Gay Marriage: I think people who are gay should be able to marry. I just don't believe male couples should be allowed to adopt. Only because of the way this country is turning out to be. You know, or at least do a background check on the guys to make sure they're not sexual predators or anything because growing up with gay parents AND getting harrassed the whole time is really wrong. For the most part though, love is not something that is controlled in any way, shape, or form and people can't help who the fall in love with, whether they be the of the same or opposite sex. When you're in love, and you love EVERY THING about that person, none of that matters because you look beyond it and what's on the inside. Truth be told.
