I just joined this community recently, even though no one has posted for a while. Hopefully things might pick up soon. In keeping with the previous post, here is a link to a fantastic article that appeared in The Washington Post a while back. It's nice to know that there are a whole generation of women pining after their own Jake Ryan.
Real Men Can’t Hold a Match to Jake Ryan of Sixteen Candles.
And to throw a potential conversation starter out there. There have been recent announcments that both Pretty In Pink and Some Kind of Wonderful will be released as Special/Collector's editions later this year. Now the question has to be asked, where is the news for a similar release for Sixteen Candles???????????????????

Dude, I tried watching my copy of Sixteen Candles the other day but my friggin VCR was busted. It's so sad; almost all of my movies are on VHS... I have over a dozan John Cusack movies... and this is one of my favs.

I know this is a 16 Candles group, but this is kinda relevant.
Gossip is that The Breakfast Club is having a mini-reunion at the MTV Awards show and are presenting an award.
That is all I know about it...will be exciting to see the group together for a minute.
June 9th on MTV, 8:30 pm i think. Jimmy Fallon hosting.

But I just found this community and HAD to join it. So I guess I'm reviving it by posting.
