I firmly believe the inventor of the karaoke machine has a special place reserved in hell just for him with a karaoke machine, Britney Spears, and Ho Chow, or what ever the oriental guy from American Idol's name was. And the creator of AI. I've see three episodes and that was three too many. Let's see, where was I. Monday I had my first positioning test. Tuesday I had an Imaging test and a Patient care test, Wednesday was a Positioning lab and Thursday was another Patient care test. Ernie gave us a take home test in Imaging and Intro both, and Thursday I turned in a paper for extra points on the questions I missed on my first Imaging test. Monday the 27th I have a Positioning test then Tuesday I have another Imaging test followed by an Intro test Wednesday and who knows when Tracy's next patient care test will be. I'm tired and I still have hours of work to do before I can even get to start studying what I have done plus all of the general house work to be done. I think I may take an hour long nap and get started again.

It's been bothering me since yesterday afternoon. D: I already took it easy and rested after arriving home from school but apparently, even a full 9 hours of sleep couldn't cure it. ;_; I think I'm coming down with a fever... I'm COLD even though it is supposedly insanely hot outside. And I'm wearing long-sleeves already. I woke up at 9AM trying to get some math done (because it is due on Tuesday and I won't have much time to complete it) and it is currently 5:30PM and I still have 4 more questions (meaning I did manage to get 9 questions done... the whole assignment has 23 questions). The point is, I SPENT HALF A DAY doing NINE questions. This assignment (all 23 questions) is meant to be done in THREE hours. (And no, I did not come online during those hours. My laptop wasn't even on). I blame my headache. I have to. Or else it means I am screwed for my finals, because the final has approximately the same amount of questions and it is a 2 to 3 hour exam. D: ----- My mom asked me about the Mizuki Nana DVD today (she actually remembered!) and if I bought it online yet. I told her I'd probably wait until December and guess what she said? Mom: Did you buy it yet? Me: No... I checked the price and taking all things into consideration, I'll wait until December, or at least til things calm down a bit. Mom: You sure you want to do that? Me: Hm? What do you mean? Mom: Think about it this way. Knowing you, from now until December, you'd probably have scratched the DVD beyond repair because you watch it too often in our cheap DVD players or on your laptop. Me: *blinks* One, what you just said doesn't support your argument for buying the DVD. Second, I AM NOT THAT OBSESSED! Mom: Well, whatever you want to do. I know my mom was really just teasing me, but I just remembered that I did, uh, scratch my T&T Twenty Two album because I played it too often on my stereo CD player (mom doesn't know about it though). hahah... The CD still works fine though! There's just small scratches, but nothing that hinders its ability to work properly. (And I listen to mp3s nowadays anyway =P). ----- While on the topic of music, apparently, the PV for YELL ~It's a Beautiful Life~ has already been uploaded. It's a great song, but I still like Generation A better. Maybe I just haven't listened to YELL enough yet. NOTE: YELL~It's a Beautiful Life~, GENERATION A, and OUTRIDE are collaboration songs by 20+ singers (Mizuki Nana is part of those singers, obviously XD). LIKE YOU WOULDN’T BELIEVE. Nothing like a good panic (finding out your site died because you forgot to pay the bills) to bring you back to the wonderful land of blogging. Funny story: when I found out that my site has died, I was spazzing like whoa. I ran out of my door with phone and card in hand to get money from the bank (so I can borrow my mom’s credit card.). Then when I got at the bank, I realized that I had no bag. I had to carry $180 (since I was paying my website bills, might as well pay my phone bills) in my pocket on the bus. I was holding on to my pocket like some lunatic. People over at WebHostingBuzz are awesome, btw. Ever need hosting, go over to them. I swear. Mucho awesomeness. They also send you an email greeting on your birthday, haha. HSBC Celebration of Light happening here tonight in Vancouver. People here just call it fireworks, though. It’s this annual event that happens by English Bay where different countries show off their firework skills. Last Wednesday was Canada (yay!) and today it’s the US performing. China’s next Wednesday I believe and next Saturday is the finale. Lots of people from all over the province (and probably outside the province/country too) flock over to downtown Vancouver to watch this annual show. Unfortunately, I’ve never watched a show in the two years I’ve been in Vancouver. Why would I miss this event? Well… I’m too busy serving your burgers and fries at one of the fast-food chains around the area. No bitterness here though, working the fireworks is quite fun. I remember being nearly stranded downtown last year. Together with two other coworkers, we were walking along Robson St looking for our bus stations. I am also on summer school for Biology 12 and not doing so good. Silly me thought I was… dedicated enough to study in the summer. OH! And I went to my first ever concert yesterday night! It was a Parokya ni Edgar concert. First thing I said was “Wow, so many Filipinos here.” Way to make an obvious observation, I know. But it was fun fun fun. I’m quite surprised I still have my voice as I type. I also totally know that the title of this post has nothing to do with any of the stuff I’ve just talked about.

I've been so busy lately, what with school and work.  I haven't finished my stuff for cuddy_fest, and I can't do them now since it's saved on my laptop (I was too lazy to save it to my flash drive.)  So, I'll probably finish them on Sunday before I have work. Speaking of Sunday, Mad Men premeries while I'm still at work.  Hopefully, they'll reshow it at 11 pm, when I'm at home and doing Japanese homework. Next Friday I'm going to the release party for "Twilight."  It's not that I'm dying to read it, but it's something fun to do with Cathy.  So I'll be working until 6 pm, then shower, then head off to Borders outside of the mall.  So in return, I'm closing on Saturday night. BTW, I SAW "THE DARK KNIGHT" LAST NIGHT, AND IT WAS FUCKING POWERFUL.  I didn't want to be one of those people who were all "FUCK THIS IS THE GREATEST MOVIE EVAR, HEATH LEDGER DIED FOR THIS" but everything was fabulous about it.  I mean everything.  I had to call my dad after the movie and tell him how good it was while Andrew told his brother.  The Joker provided me with so many lulz, it was fantastic.  I'm going to see it again next Sunday with my dad and Ray. I haven't written much anything in the last couple months, but I still want to sign up. It's like a drug. I can't resist, even though I know I would fret over doing the prompt I'd get justice. In related news, I lovingly put together a fanmix for Snape/Hermione relationship-ness. Half my flist 'ship it, and the other half of my flist probably give me the fish eye when I mention SS/HG. So, if you're in the eww-gross half, feel free to ignore or just think of this post as free music. Since there is virtually no SS/HG in canon, I'm going on the fanon version of the 'ship. The songs are a bit subdued because I just can't imagine Snape or Hermione fitting with NIN or even some emo band. I desperately wanted to include a few other bands, but the songs just sounded out-of-place with this collection. ( preview/download songs with track listing and larger graphics ) I'm fiddling around with making another related fanmix with a different feel to it, but I haven't manage to find all the songs to compliment one another.

I've been off grounding for a week, but not much has changed. I'm not really allowed out, and to be perfectly honest, it's way too much to explain. At least now; I'm in a good mood, I don't want to spoil it. So, really, this Physics summer work?? Ouch. I've got a lot of goals this summer, I'm really hoping to meet each and every one. Finally got a job! At the Carmike Cinema, I'm so excited :]. But (because of course there has to be a but), my school's guidance counselor in charge of the working papers is incredibly stupid and lets her son handle important paper work and 1. lost mine, 2. waited forever to let me know she found them, and 3. sent the wrong card, fucking idiot. Thanks. So I start next week even though I got the job a month ago. CUTE :D! I plan on finishing all of my summer work by the end of the first week of August (probably going to be the second week). This book Brave New World is blowing my mind. I have to finishstart my graduation project. You know, now that half of my summer was wasted, thanks mom, things seem to be coming along a lot quicker than I'd rather they did. Fuck groundation. Ugh. On lighter notes: DARK KNIGHT WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY LIFE. <3333333333333 Amazinggggggggg. I went to the midnight showing and EVERY seat was occupied, so I had to sit in the front row :D. Well, the second. And I had to keep turning my head from one side to the other to see what was happening and omg it was amazing. And then I saw it the next day :D. My news is that I travelled up to Horsham yesterday and saw Grandma and my aunt and uncle.  It was nice catching up with them all, wish it had of been longer though.  Grandma showed me the basics for making one of her rugs so I'm going to attempt a small one first then make a large one.  Grandma was impressed this morning when I showed her what I had done over night.  I'm really happy that she was happy, it's not often I get to see her. :D

To be more specific, I had a very weird PGSM dream involving Ami and Rei, in which I was Ami in the first half of the dream and doing some very basic algebra in front of the class. (Why yes, I dreamt about doing math in my sleep.) Then the dream somehow turned to Rei driving a red sports car and was later attacked by monkeys/primates. O_o I was a little weirded and freaked out at the creatures that attacked Rei when I woke up and recalled the dream. When I fell asleep again, I dreamt of Erio and Caro writing a letter to Fate. I don't remember much about that dream, except that Erio looked really cool. XDD And Caro was being very cute. =D Also, when I was walking down the hallway to (the deserted) school this morning, I couldn't help but think of Erio. I believe he made the right decision when he went against Fate's wishes and joined the preservation squad (where Caro is/was) instead of going to school (like Fate wanted him to). XD I mean, honestly, I would rather ride dragons all day/patrol the area than go to school. XP ----- ( And here is me ranting about 11 hours of no internet, minor freak out over upcoming finals, and experiencing first-hand that university is a harsh world ) ----- I seem to be complaining about RL a lot lately? That's never a good thing. XD Anyway, I was looking at some JAM Project videos after coming home. Things just aren't the same without Matsumoto Rika as part of the group. What? [22 Jul 2008|05:01pm] kel_aka_gandy I've (fairly) recently discovered a new manga love, Zettai Kakusei Tenshi Mistress Fortune (Absolute Awakening Angel Mistress Fortune)! It's so amazingly adorable! I'm rather upset that it's only 3 chapters (+ a side story) though. I think I can say I fell in love with it when I read the first page of the entire series.
