| About: | Hello and welcome to a community for X fanart. We want to encourage more art for the series - as well as Tokyo Babylon and CCD - and invite you to share your work. Discussion of art is allowed as well as posting of YOUR art. But please take a moment to read the following. RULES :: - Use politeness, PLEASE. If you disagree with something or the art, keep cool and calm. Respect the person. This is not only applied to the people who will be commenting, but the artist. Keep your head, please. Have a problem? Be sensible enough to know who to go to. .....that would be us, the mods, by the way. - Taken straight from the first post - please, no introductory posts ^^;; It's great you're here, but unless you have something to share, it can get slightly out of hand. - COMMENT. Seriously, comment on the person who posts. But comments like 'nice', 'that's so cool' and the like will be frowned on. Please offer constructive comments or criticism. If you are only complimenting, be a little more descriptive. One-liner comments are not really acceptable. We would like to encourage the artists. - Also, this community is VERY much against people being thieves, whether with art, icons or other graphics. If I find out you are not being thoughtful toward fellow members, I will warn you first. If you don't get your act together, you'll be banned. It is rude to not credit and stuff. Be polite, guys. - Type sensibly. Do not abuse your shift key or the exclamation mark. The mods and members would appreciate that a lot. And please keep the fangirl-Japanese down to none. It is a tad more than silly. Unless you are Japanese and damn well know the language, it just makes you look foolish to most people. And don't be hyper. No one likes hyper people, really. Happy is one thing, but being too bouncy and annoying is another. - Even attempt a 'THAT SUCKS' comment and we will ban you. If you don't like something, try being far more sensible than that. And if you can't act with any maturity, then don't worry. We will. - Do not post links to fanart randomly. This is for YOUR work. Right now, that's all we care about. Yes, those Japanese fanart sites kick ass, but this isn't really the place for that. - A note for the artists - if you do NOT want criticism or advice, please move carefully here. One of the reasons why this community was started was because too often artists are just thrown praise at for the character/pairing/group or the technique/amount of effects. The art as a whole never seems to be looked at or the idea that was there. - Unfinished works are acceptable. You may ask for advice for that. But don't submit something too light and barely even started. You will get in trouble for that. - AU artwork is also acceptable, but label it as so to be clear. Like Kamui in a pirate suit or Yuzuriha the vampire. Unless that's for a costume party, that would be AU. - All pictures MUST be cut, no exceptions. Give warnings if something is rated unsuitable for young viewer. Meaning if someone is under the age where viewing smutty things is acceptable, then say so. In other words - R/NC-17? Yeah, SAY something. And please RESIZE your image to a good size that still will allow detail to be shown but not force someone to scroll sideways over and over. Provide a link if it's really an issue for you.
