My memory card filled up halfway through the NKOTB show! WTF? I would have used the other one but that was still full of pics from Street Scene and The Hives. Oh well.
I have mega catching up to do on FL reading, and I'll update once I've uploaded my pics and video.
And quick question... can anyone give me any kind of confirmation if they heard Justin was in Vegas Saturday night for the Lakers Afterparty at Tabu? I heard something from the girl sitting next to me at the show, and wondered if he was actually there. |

I need a camera so bad! LOL...maybe that's what I'll put on my birthday list of things I'll most likely buy for myself, but if someone else is willing, I certainly won't turn it down...but I digress...
My TARDIS is almost finished! Actually, the TARDIS-y looking bit is done! All the appliques are applied, that is, sewn on, and the fabric paint's painted...including a coat of glow in the dark paint in a few strategic areas, namely the POLICE [public call] BOX lettering and the windows, so it's all glowy and pretty when I hand out candy to the little trick or treaters... just need to put together the pants, which I hope to add pockets to if I can manage it...
Anyway, I'm just finding it all kinds of amazing that my Halloween costume is gonna be done sooner than the night before! YES!!!! LOLZ
...oh, and I made pie again...my mom found a new apple pie recipe she wanted to try, but since she's broken her foot -- it happened a couple weeks ago, when she took a bad fall, but they didn't discover the fracture till a couple days ago, after she went back to the doctor because of the pain -- I told her I'd do it...and I did it, and it's yummy!!! *giggle* |

I wish I had something to do this weekend...
Well, I kinda do -- I made even more progress on my TARDIS outfit tonight! The window and instruction panel appliques are done, and so are the other plain blue panels for the most part...I think I'll just fold them under when I sew them to the garment, instead of finishing them first like I did the others -- those had to be finished because of the type of things they are... I painted POLICE public call BOX on the ribbon thingy that I sewed onto the top...there's one on the back too, I think observers can imagine the sides, and the bigger on the inside thing too...LOLZ
I'm excited, actually...I'm also making a matching pair of pants, which may actually end up with pockets if I can figure out how to do that...I've got two possibilities on how I can go with that, so whichever one I think's best once I get to it!
When the outfit's done, I'll borrow my brother's camera so I can show it to all of you!
I'm still trying to write more Doctor Who drabbles according to the list of prompts I got from ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) doctor_donna and newten_rose -- it's the same list for each...anyway, I got way ahead with the 10.5/Rose ones, and now I want to catch up with the Ten/Donna ones...and, of course, if anything longer than a drabble comes to me, I'll be sure to post that too. You know what? I have been writing little bits of fic -- mostly the beginnings of hurt/comfort in which Ten is cared for by Donna and 10.5 by Rose...I just love those things, btw, and I much prefer the Doctor to be the one being taken care of...not that he can't rise to the occasion when necessary, but it's just more fun to read the invincible, super, TIMELORD-MAN needing a bit of TLC, ya know? [Which reminds me, I actually read a NINE fic of that very nature tonight...I think it was by ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) azriona, but I could be wrong...but it was awesomely awesome, and better yet, she promises a turn with Ten and "Handy"! I can hardly wait!!!] I read another one recently, though I'm not sure if the fic was recent or not...and sorry, don't remember the author or anything...*sigh*, in which Ten gets really deathly ill...we're talking fever, dizziness, puking all over his poor TARDIS...and he hallucinates the Master, whose imaginary form somehow causes the TARDIS to materialize at Torchwood so that Jack can take care of the Doctor -- and although there may have been hints if you squint or if that's what you were looking for, it didn't go into slash, which was fairly amazing in itself, considering the genre!!!! It was a good one, though, and if I find it by the time I ever actually make a fic rec post, that's going in there! LOL!!! Poor Ianto, even the Doctor took him for merely a lowly tea boy, oh, wait, *giggle*...and undead!Owen [at least I think he was that way in this] saved the day by finding the cure! YAY!
And here we are, at nearly 2am and I'm rambling on...LOL...somebody write me a Ten/Donna or a 10.5/Rose hurt/comfort fluffity fluff with a side of angst thrown in, and I'll try to do the same...or, shall I say, I'll keep trying to do the same...*babbles incoherently* |

It's about time, Connecticut!
I don't understand the 85-page decision, or rather, I can't seem to wade through it all in the few minutes I have before I have to run out the door. But the nutshell version per Love Makes a Family is that the CT Supreme Court has ruled that same sex couples can marry in CT.

Yes...gotta get up early for work tomorrow, er, later today, that is...
So, naturally I've stayed up till all hours working on my Halloween costume, and then got online right after instead of, you know, going to bed or something sensible like that!
The window appliques are pretty much done, though I haven't quite decided whether to sew on a border or just leave them as-is before sewing them on...also hopefully the fabric paint will work on the strip of satiny fabric that needs to say POLICE [public call] BOX, and that I can approximate the font on the instruction panel, which is also an applique...LOLZ
ETA: You know, I think I will put borders on so that the stitching won't show...yeah, that makes sense, though it'll take a bit of extra time...I think it'll be worth it, though...
...but yeah, I've made lots of progress tonight...hopefully there will be much caffeine tomorrow! |

She's so funny. I guess she took her sister Laura to the show last night, and Amy came back all fangirly. She's almost 36 and this is the first time she's ever liked them. I'm so excited!! |
