Here you're able to read/write/post about anything music and/or band (or orchestra) related. Anything goes- marching band, wind ensemble, jazz band, solo and ensemble....it's your call. Feel free to ask questions and seek advice. Experience and knowledge do not matter at all. This is a community for everyone!
Things to do here include and are certainly not limited to:
[x] Discussing composers/songs
[x] Talking about festivals and contests
[x] Asking any music-related questions
[x] Meeting others interesting in music (sure, we can be an "add me" community for all I care...haha)
[x] Etc, etc, etc!
There aren't many rules, but here are a few simple guidelines:
[x] Please respect everyone's opinions. Everyone is bound to have different opinions, but that's the beauty of music
[x] Try to stay slightly on topic. Everything doesn't necessarily have to be about a specific contest or raving about a composer, but this isn't the place to cry about your boyfriend being an ass....let's keep the self-pity to ourselves.
[x] No putting anyone down. Remember, experience and knowledge do not matter. As lame and cliche as it sounds, "there's no such thing as a stupid question."
