happy birthday to me, lol [13 Oct 2008|10:49am] jasoncourtney so it's MY BIRTHDAY!!!! sad new is i'm at work. the great news is my sister got me an ipod touch and we had TREMENDOUS fun at the club. element i'll never forget you!!! about 15 of my friends came out, which i thought was so nice of them, and we partied the night away. i put our names on the VIP list and as a result, they let us sit in the exlusive section of the club and gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne. afterwards we went to a diner, ate and went home! it was great. i hope everyone's taking it easy today. talk later ppl :] 6 comments|post comment

do i dazzle you? [13 Oct 2008|07:16am] simplyateenager [ mood | cheerful ] 1. Oh my goodness!!! THE.TWILIGHT.TRAILER. THE. TWILIGHT. TRALIER!!!!!! When I watched it it literally gave me chills.  Ugh, it made me want the movie NOW! Ahaha. Yeah, so i'm veryy exicited now! 2. Nanny I call my grandma Nanny and I was talking on the phone with her last night and was telling her how i wanted to see high school musical 3 and then see twilight. she asked what Twilight was- and I said I would tell her but warned her it's kinda weird.  I said it was a vampire book, and it's pretty much about a girl falling in love with one. And she was like "Sarah, I love vampire books!" And she asked the name of the author, and when the movie came out. Eepp! I'm so exicited my Nanny might read twilight. 3. Hairrr. So, I have been growing my hair out for Locks-of-Love. What it is: you cut of 10 inches of your hair (or more), and using your hair and others, they make a wig for children that have cancer. I just think it's the sweetest thing. So, my hair is now down to the middle of my back- and it's been driving me crazy.  Sooo, I think I'm going to get it cut today. But it's going to be very short- for me. It will be in the middle of my neck. Also, I need to choose if I want bangs or not (whether it's sideswipt, or all in the front across the forhead bangs, or no bangs at all.) Live From New York.... [11 Oct 2008|05:53am] carpenterbowler [ mood | drained ] [ music | nothing really... ] Saturday Night Live, hosted by George Carlin, aired live from New York for the first time in 1975. The cast of SNL has been through many changes in the show’s history, from Chevy Chase to Tina Fey. Who was the funniest? That's the writer's block for today. It's kind asurprising ot me that they really want someone to pick the funniest person on that show. The show has evolved with the times, so each cast is funny in it's own right. There were things that the people int he 70's could joke aobut hta the people in the 80's couldn't really joke about. Then, there's things that people in the 90's could joke about that the people in the 80's couldn't joke about. My mom even mentions that SNL just isn't the same as it used to be. But, I think that the show has evolved with the times to stay funny, I thinkit has rolled witht he punches.... Yeah, totally didn't plan to make a post, but when I saw that as the writer's block, I just had to. post comment

It's a sad day in the Howard house... [09 Oct 2008|11:24pm] carpenterbowler [ mood | sad ] [ music | none... must go to bed! ] So, Mallory (our oldest dog) hasn't been doing good for awhile. We've had her for at least ten, if not more years. Her eye sight has been going, her joints are getting old... It just hasn't been an easy year or so with her. Well, as it turns out, Dad had to carry her into the house last night. And,w hen I came home from work tongiht, Dad was out trying to find her and had to carry her in tonight too. So, he's calling the vet tomorrow and having her put down. I know it's time, and she's lived a nice and long life. But still, we've had her since I was a kid. It's like another whole piece of my childhood that's gone.... It's sad... I was getting all teary-eyed when we were talking about it, and I'm sure I'll get teary eyed tomorrow. And, my parents are going out of town, so I'll be staying in their room with the dogs and I'm sure I'll try and figure out where Mallory is the entire weekend.... It's just sad.. another piece of my childhood is gone... 1 comment|post comment
