Muffin Effect (MU-fin eh-FEKT) n. -


A term used to describe the way fat hangs over the belt-line of a pair of pants. When jeans are worn too tight, they force the fat to "spill over" much like the top of a muffin.



Example: Now there's a perfect example of the muffin effect. [yelled] Buy some jeans that fit, tubbo!

what's sad is that i have a bit of the muffin effect made kind of permanent, so even when i'm wearing nothing, there is a line where my pants would go, and up to that line it is flat, and afterwards, the chub begins to protrude. :*(

I saw this earlier today and then all day I kept seeing people and thinking, DUDE, it's the muffin effect. What a useful term!
