    Check out Mostly Kings
Mostly Kings is a trio based out of the greater Boston area. The band combines rock with elements of blues, funk, and folk. We formed in early 2006, and completed a three song demo this fall. We have been constantly writing new material and are in the process of booking many shows. Lets bring some rock! Be our friend! E-mail us at: mostlykings@gmail.com

    I need some vindication here
Am I the only person on the Internet who gets that The Black Eyed Peas "My Humps" song is an ironic critique of the current rap/hip-hop music genre? All my roommates take it seriously, as do my parents, and the dj at a club I went to recently. It's like when I gave "A Modest Proposal" to one of my ex-'s and he thought it was seriously advocating eating babies. That really sounded the death-knell for the relationship right there.

has anyone else here picked up the new dropkick murphys album? what do you think of it? it just came out a few weeks ago and i can't stop listening to it. I really love the title track, the warriors code. if you don't have the album yet you can listen to a few of the songs here on Epitaph's site. has anyone seen them on warped tour this summer? what did you think of their show? boston's boys are doing it again!

    hi
hi, i'm new to this community. my name is keavy (pronounced like "heavy"). i'm 14. my life is pretty much centered around music. some of the bands/singers i like:

    cake
    barenaked ladies
    talking heads
    counting crows
    my chemical romance
    natalie imbruglia
    U2
    the used
    coheed and cambria
    new found glory
    nirvana
    Jewel
    Fallout Boy
    Bright eyes
    Ani Difranco
    Crashtest Dummies
    They Might Be Giants

and there are about six thousand others, some can be seen on my isound profile. i like a lot of different genres of music, anywhere from rock to folk to pop to adult alternative, and even some jazz. i'm rather like an ecclectic CD collection. i can't wait to see some other peoples' musical taste throughout my involvement in the community.

    Hi I'm new here
    Hi,
My name is Sarah and I am 14 years old. I play guitar and also greatly enjoy listening to music. I listen to music as much as possible. The list of my favorite songs and artists is quite long, but here are a few of them. These are not in order from most to least favorite or anything.

Here's a list of artists who have more than just a few songs out that I like
    Avril Lavigne
    Jewel
    Sheryl Crow
    Alison Crouse
Indigo Girls (just went to a great concert of theirs)
Emmy Lou Harris (anyone heard of her?)
    Kate Wolf
    Fleetwood Mac
schooner Fare (I bet know one's heard of them)

Now, here's a list of some of my favorite individual songs
Breathe (2AM) by Anna Nalick (that's one of my new favorites)
Accidentally in Love by Counting Crows
Me and Bobby Mcgee by Janis Joplin
Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) and Boulevard Of Broken Dreams by Green Day (I want to here more of their music)
    Babylon by David Gray
    The Weight by The Band
Thank You and White Flag by Dido
Since U Been Gone and Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson

I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack
Well, those are only SOME of my favorites. I love talking about music and so this looks like a great community. Ok, I think that's it for now.
