[info]jimbobmatt: HAARP

did anybody else go see one of the special screenings of HAARP last night? i went to the seattle one (with the laser show before-hand). i know the band had been posting videos of the wembley show online for awhile now, but i wanted to wait until i could watch the whole thing all the way through. and i'm so glad i waited, because it totally blew me away! i really wish i had been at that show, but at the same time i'm glad i didn't go, because i know i could never return to my normal life after seeing something that awesome in person.

what did everybody else think of the dvd?

DVD to be released the 18th of February (AFAIK, don't take my word for it yet), info and tracklisting as follows:

The H.A.A.R.P. Tour: Live from Wembley is a forthcoming CD/DVD release by the English rock band Muse. The DVD is expected to contain a 17-track setlist from the band's concert at Wembley Stadium on June 17, 2007. A CD is also expected to be released, with a 45 minute selection of tracks recorded on one or both nights at Wembley. The CD/DVD can also be purchased together in a collector's box edition, featuring exclusive postcards. Several websites, such as Amazon have stated that the CD/DVD is scheduled to be released on February 19, 2008, suggesting it will be released the previous day in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Bassist Christopher Wolstenholme has stated in a French music magazine that the DVD will also feature a 1 hour documentary on the Wembley preparation and their life on the road.

A video of Unintended recorded live at Wembley was uploaded to the Muse Official Website as a Christmas gift to the fans, while a short 18 second clip of Knights of Cydonia was uploaded on January 11 as a "sneak peak" of the forthcoming DVD.

[info]jimbobmatt: Come As You Are

i was reading blender magazine and they had a little blurb about how Teignmouth were going to have a big sign up proclaiming them as the hometown of MUSE when they discovered the band's name is an acronym for "Medicated Urethral Suppository for Erection." that's pretty funny, i think!

noir7: Muse Concert Webcast

There's going to be a webcast of the Vegoose festival in Las Vegas, NV this weekend. Muse is playing Sunday night at (I think) 6:30. Calculate time zone issues appropriately. Other bands include Rage Against the Machine and a bunch of other bands I've never really heard of.

Here's the link.

[info]kerri_is_dead: Matt Bellamy sketch

Hey, I'm new to this community and I come with fanart:

Click here to see the sketch of Matt Bellamy

Done in two hours with HB pencil. The photo I used was from the front cover of a Kerrang! magazine, issue no 1163 (UK version). I would be insanely grateful if someone had the full version of the image so I could re-do this image properly. Thanks for you time!

[info]makoelf: 2 MSG tickets available.

Hey. I'm new to this community. I have 2 tickets available for the MSG showing. Tickets for the show at the Patriot Center just went on sale today and, considering I live in VA, I'd rather have shows for TPC instead of MSG. If you're interested in these tickets, I'll be happy to sell them for the same price Ticketmaster would have sold them to you. Please let me know ASAP. I'm going to be cross-posting this like crazy so first come first serve!
