Welcome to the METROCON community! The Livejournal community dedicated to the one and only Tampa Anime Convention, METROCON
First of all, what is METROCON?
METROCON is a three day convetion held each year in Tampa, Florida that is dedicated to Anime, Japanese music, and any other sort of Japanese related things!
METROCON gives everyone the opportunity to meet others with the same Japanese interests as they do. It also gives everyone the opportunity to cosplay (dress up) as their favorite character from a show, band, or singer!
This event is also a chance for participants to compete against others in several contests, ranging from Anime Idol, the Cosplay Contest, Costume Contest, Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) Tournament, and so much more!
METROCON will be held at the Tampa Convention Center
