The userinfo says introduce yourself when you join, so I shall do so! I'm [info]tsutsuji, writer of yaoi fanfic and such, and fan of this pairing - even though, I must admit, I haven't even watched much of Evangelion, only the first few episodes and then I skipped ahead to 24. I'll catch up with the rest someday! Plus I've skimmed through Angelic Days, if that counts for anything. (It's cute, but y'know, it could seriously use an alternate ending...)

I'm also a rather big fangirl of Ishida Akira in general. Kaworu is one of his best-ever characters - I'm also quite fond of Xelloss, Chrono, and Hakkai - three demons and one Angel, hm. It must be fun to be him.

I'll be hanging around and reading back through the entries, looking for fics, icons, and philosophical discussion, naturally. I don't feel qualified to write fic for this pairing yet, but I'm working on it. See ya!

Ah, ah! Welcome! (Philosophical discussions? I can help with that... a little, at least. <3)

Hmmmm..... We don't post often on here, I have to say. It's pretty depressing. And, also, I had no idea that the rules said to introduce yourself, haha!

Well, you could always read the manga. Some of the characters act a little different in it, that's all I'm going to say. For fear of spoilers. KaworuxShinji!spoilers. Actually, you should probably read the manga before you read most of the stuff on here... It's pretty close to the anime, so I would say either watch the anime and then read the manga chapters with Kaworu, or read the manga and watch the last few episodes of the anime. To get the OMFWTFINSANE!feel.

Woah - thanks for that link! (Ooh, and it has Chrono Crusade, too! *happy*)
A friend of mine is more than ready to guide me through the anime, too, so I'll be catching up to the rest of you soon. I'm fairly well spoiled already, enough so that I can read fanfic without being too confused, but I should really get the full experience first hand, heh.
Thanks for the welcome!

Ishida Akira is so terribly wonderful, isn't he?

He is! Out of all this love for animated characters, I've developed a crush on an actual Real Person for the first time in years. I think it started when I heard him singing a song as Xelloss. He gets so many wonderful lines in the roles he plays, and of course Kaworu has some of the best lines ever.
I'm glad to find you here, too!

Ah, a new face! How excellent! Welcome, welcome. ♥

Anyway, I have to vouch for [info]jenniferplague, because a lot of the fic/art posted on her does have more allusions to the manga than anything else.

Also, I'm glad to hear that you're a fanfiction writer. I always like to hear that, given there's not much activity here, nowadays.

But, over all, we're a pretty friendly bunch. So, don't be a stranger. [:

Ps: I love philosophical discussions, so please feel free to drop me a line if I'm not too terribly wiped out.

Thank you, thank you!
I feel like I should develop an appropriately surreal style of writing just for this fandom.
I've got a story idea for this pairing already, part of a series for Akira Ishida's characters. It's mainly based in Angelic Days, but I need to get to know the Eva world and characters a little better before I can finish it.
Ah, but philosophical discussions are so much more interesting when the participants are exhausted, aren't they? That's when *everything* seems profound! ~_^

No problem. ♥

Hahaa. Well, surreality is pretty objective when it comes to writing for this fandom. There's plenty of fanfiction out there for this particular fandom and pairing that is actually rather straight-forward. A bit rare, mind, but they tend to be rather refreshing.

Goodness knows, I bring (magical) realism to the table, here.

Oh? Good, good! (Just don't be like me and read the manga in one go. That was a very strange six hours.)

...True! Well, except when I'm tired I whine about coffee, and tend to talk about bizarre references I've drawn to certain things in my everyday life. (I'm...A master at hooking other people into fandoms. My poor guy friends never stood a chance.)

Edit: Actually, for clarification, AU fanfiction for this fandom tends to be a little more straight-forward at times. Not all of it, but some of it. Don't get me wrong, I actually write very fragmented stories -- Though, that's always been my style. I was lucky enough to find a fandom that supports that sort of form. However, I like challenges; I stick to my style for whatever fandom I write for, because that's the form I've got. It leads to some pretty interesting results, tell you what. ♥

...Hahaha, you linked me. XD

It's true, though. Even if I saw the series wa~y before reading the manga, I seem to do manga-verse over and over and over...
