The Tintin movie TRILOGY will follow the adventures of the Belgian comic-book character and his dog, Snowy. Like Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings and King Kong, the movies will use motion-capture technology to create 3D digital characters, AP said. Jackson, Steven Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy are producing the trilogy.  They have Andy Serkis onboard already not for the role of Tintin though and the rumor of Rupert being eyed for the role of TinTin has gone around but was dispelled by no less than RGN because Rupert's agency said they weren't contacted by Jackson or Spielberg for this. Okay, this could be our chance to really do something for our boy.

Vote Popstar!

Let's make Rupert Popstar's popular celebrity for 2007! That's right! All you have to do is go here and leave a comment. It is that simple! Of course you have to verify your account. So as soon as you get the e-mail, do that! (If you have trouble with this, leave a post and I'll tell you how it can be easily fixed.) You can vote once a day. Currently Rupert is #2 with 364 votes. The #1 spot is occupied by The Jonas Brothers who have 548 votes. We need exactly 187 votes to surpass them. Though we should continue to vote every day even if we surpass that number (to combat those who have not verified their accounts). Logically we could be in the #1 spot by this weekend.

EDIT: The Jonas Brothers are pulling ahead! Please spread this everywhere! We need to get going before they're too far ahead again! Post this at your own LJs or LJs you know you can post it at. Forums that you visit! Put it in your signatures anywhere you can. Let's just get to it! :)

Various Updates

Hey all!

Argh. News on Rupert has been pretty slow, huh? Well, we do have some pretty cool news for you all if you haven't had a chance to visit the ICM website these last few weeks.

The HP trio will be videotaping a message to the cool people at Comic-Con International and it will be airing at Comic-Con on either the 20th, 21st, or 22nd of June! Look out for that and hopefully a video and pictures will surface on the ICM site. :)

Also, it has been reported today that Rupert, Julie Walters, Dan, Emma, and Matthew Lewis will be making an appearance to the Queen's 80th Birthday extravaganza!! They will be acting as their characters in the Harry Potter's in a play called "The Queen's Handbag" and it will be broadcast from Buckingham Palace on BBC1 and CBBC! We hopefully will get some videos of this because it will be so awesome!!

More news to come as well as some avatars from me! Most probably sometime next week as my exams are almost over, YAY!

PS. Have you voted for Rupert in the CBBC Poll today? Or how 'bout the Poptastic Awards??

It may not be a the Oscars, but it is something the fans should get together and do to show love for him.

Just go to the link, type in his name and you will be sent to a poll with his name to vote on. It is under Best Work of 2005!
