Welcome to Hydeist, the largest Hyde fan community on Livejournal. Past layouts: version one version two

RULES
1) Play nice. Absolutely no flaming of Hyde, L'Arc~en~Ciel, or other fans will be tolerated. This community was established to spread the love, not the hate. No wanking will be tolerated. Find another community to do that at, please.

2) People have opinions, and they have every right to them. If you happen to disagree with a particular opinion, pleasehandle it in a mature manner. You're welcome to discuss your beliefs in a friendly manner, but lashing out at people unnecessarily will get you banned. Don't be afraid to voice out your thoughts, just do so wisely.

3) Please keep posts strictly Hyde-related! If you have any general L'Arc~en~Ciel questions or comments,

larcenciel is just a click away! And remember, this isn't a place to post about your day or your life story. That, friends, is called a personal journal!

4) Fangirling is more than welcome (after all, we are a group of fans), but please keep any gushing about Hyde's appearance to a minimum. More about this can be read in the second half of this post.

5) When posting wallpapers, icons, pictures, or anything large, please make sure to put them behind an lj-cut. In case you don't know, the code for that is <*lj-cut text="Title of the cut here">Material behind the cut here. And make sure to remove the *'s. Now you have no excuse to make huge posts that take up everyone's friends pages! ;)

6) Please friends-lock any file sharing or graphic fanart.

7) Due to many complaints, fanfiction is no longer allowed in this community. There are plenty of other communities dedicated to Hyde-related fanfiction (i.e.

gacktxhyde,

hydeship, and

hxt) so posting them here is unnecessary.

8) Do not make file requests in the community. There are plenty of alternate places for that, like

jcrack,

jmusic_uploads, and

jrock_mp3s. From now on, any file requests will be deleted without notice, unless you clearly state in your post that you have requested for the file at at least three communities prior to your post at

_hydeist and all three searches were unsuccessful.

9) Do not spread rumors in this community; if you do, you'll be banned in a flash of lightning. :D However, feel free to check out

hydeology, a Hyde discussion community.

10) And lastly, the most important and mandatory rule of all, have a blast! Yes, it's a rule. Yes, we'll ban you if you don't have enough fun! (... Joking!)
