somewhere between a vision and a dream...

I think my dream of getting to 100 LJ friends is over. The last 3 months I've gone up and down between 95 and 89 friends of. Currently, I'm at 89.
I've been losing and gaining people about at a 1 to 1 ratio since then.
In the time that I'll gain 11 new LJ friends, I'll in all likelihood lose that many.
Damn...
