The War is over. Voldemort is no more. The Death Eaters are disbanded, under arrest or on death row.
All, that is, except one.
After a year of living in exile under an assumed name, the last and least of the Death Eaters hears that his family home is to be reduced to little more than kindling, and all the family property sold off.
Abandoned, alone, and afraid, betrayer and betrayed, he does the only thing he can.
He writes a letter.
