Finally...
From Kotaku, here's a few official translations for T6 profiles.
Christie Monteiro
Fighting style: Capoeira
Nationality: Brazilian
Christie was unable to win The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. She was struggling to discover a way to save her grandfather when Eddy, who had been by her side, suddenly vanished. She searched everywhere but was unable to find him. Ultimately, she was left with no choice but to return to Brazil alone.
Christie continued her search for Eddy upon returning to Brazil, when surprisingly her grandfather also disappeared from the hospital. The hospital said that Christie's grandfather had been sent to the Mishima Zaibatsu for treatment. Christie figured that Eddy acted against the Mishima Zaibatsu in same manner, but in that case she should have gotten some communication from him. She could not help but feel that there must be something sinister regarding Eddy's disappearance. When The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 was announced, Christie headed for Japan to get in contact with the Mishima Zaibatsu and to find out where Eddy and her grandfather had gone.
Devil Jin
Fighting Style: Unknown
Nationality: None
Under the control of the devil gene, Jin Kazama's power rivals that of a demon.
Dragunov
Fighting Style: Commando Sambo
Nationality: Russian
Age: 26
Sergei Dragunov had received orders from the Russian military command to capture the organism known as the 'Devil.' He successfully infiltrated The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, but was unable to locate the organism.
Russia was in complete disorder due to numerous internal conflicts and civil disturbances, all believed to be caused by the covert actions of Mishima Zaibatsu operatives. In order to suppress national unrest, Dragunov was fighting across the country. He was then called back by top Russian military command and ordered to infiltrate The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 to crush the Mishima Zaibatsu. Thus, Dragunov embarked once again for Japan.
Hwoarang
Fighting style: Tae Kwon Do
Nationality: Korea
Hwoarang succeeded in defeating Jin in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. However, the next instant, the defeated Jin let out an inhuman roar and Hwoarang was thrown through the air by violent winds. Sprouting black wings, Jin stood before him ....looking just like a devil. Extremely outmatched, Hwoarang was prepared for death as he lost consciousness. When he awoke, he was in a hospital bed. After hearing about what happened from Baek Doo San, who had stayed at his bedside, Hwoarang pushed away the nurse and quickly rushed to his teacher, begging for more power.
After leaving the hospital, Hwoarang trained with more vigor than ever before. Intent on defeating his former rival, he left for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6.
King
Fighting Style: Pro Wrestling
Nationality: Mexico
In The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, King faced Marduk in a grueling battle. A friendship formed between the two after the fight. Upon returning from the ring, Marduk was ambushed by someone dressed as Armor King. King was furious and vowed to find the culprit, but was unsuccessful.
After that, the world was engulfed in war, and King had all but given up looking for Marduk's attacker when he received an invitation from Marduk to join him in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. If they both participated in the Tournament, perhaps the Armor King imposter would show up again. With that slight hope, King decided to join the tournament.
Craig Marduk
Fighting Style: Vale Tudo
Nationality: Australia
Craig Marduk fought against King once again during The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5. Although he lost, he had a friendly handshake with King after the match. Returning to his room, the lights suddenly went out, and Marduk was attacked by an unknown assailant. The lights came back on after some time, and the Marduk saw the culprit. It appeared to be Armor King, who Marduk had previously.
The world fell engulfed in war when, suddenly, The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 was announced. Marduk reasoned that if he entered the tournament perhaps the unknown assailant would show up again. Along with his new ally King, Marduk entered the tournament to find his attacker.
Nina Williams
Fighting Style: Assassination Arts
Nationality: Ireland
After defeating her sister Anna, Nina Williams was without an immediate goal to pursue. Jin Kazama, who had become the leader of the Mishima Zaibatsu, recruited her as a member of his special forces. Nina was not picky about her clients. She engaged in covert demolition operations around the world as part of the Tekken Force.
As the world was engulfed in war and the conflict between the Mishima Zaibatsu and the G Corporation heated up, the Zaibatsu announced The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. Nina decided to enter the Tournament in order to those who pose a threat to Jin Kazama.

so we just launched tekken 2 for verizon cell phones. it's pretty much tekken 2 arcade for the phone. i hear it runs pretty well. (i work namco pc so i haven't quite gotten to play it yet. that and my phone is a piece of junk.) i haven't heard of any plans for tekken 3 yet.

Abasic town along the water with lots to do, a magnet high school, and acollege. Not so much. Every night at midnight, the lights go out andthe world changes. The 25th hour comes. But only those attuned to magiccan see it. If those who cannot are stuck outside, let's hope someonefinds them lest the Shadows get them. At 12:01, after the 25 hour haspassed, everything is normal. Oh and watch out for the full moon. :D

According to IGN and 1up, probably even Gamespot too, too lazy to double-check, Lars is in fact Heihachi's son. He is half-Swedish and half-Japanese. Specifically, according to 1up, he is a former Tekken Force officer who is disillusioned with what Jin has done with the Mishima Zaibatsu. This particular aspect of his character isn't included in the fan translation of his profile.
Alisa is an android made by Dr. B., modeled after his daughter. Not a big suprise there, but there it is nonetheless. That's also not in the fan translation of her profile, perhaps will be revealed during the story mode.
1up has also hinted at the possibility of Dr. B returning as a character in the console version.

| T6 Fall 2009, PS3 and Xbox 360 |

Good/bad news my friends, all depending on who you are (for me, bad, because my patience in waiting for this game has grown very thin).
Tekken 6 will be released Fall 2009 and PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Some of you might find the 360 part surprising (what with the game's full installments never being on anything but PlayStation before), but if you've seen how things have turned out with a lot of other games, you'd know that times sure have changed.
I do ask that we avoid the whole console war nonsense in this particular post and move on to the more important (and for me disappointing) news of...
FALL 2009. Wow. I do not like that one tiny bit, but I suppose it's better than the near-nothing pieces of news we had before. Looks like the game might finally be getting more attention on the public front.
Another piece of good news I waited on before learning more is that the console version will include the Bloodline Rebellion content + more when released. Thank goodness. For those of you who completely skipped T5DR, you're going to have EIGHT, that's right EIGHT all-new characters to check out. Lili, Dragunov, Leo, Zafina, Miguel, Bob, Lars, and Alisa. Plus, Armor King returned in DR.

No news on WHEN but...
According to an IGN podcast, Tekken 6 was mentioned at Namco's pre-TGS event and is basically still coming to PS3 eventually with more content than the Bloodline Rebellion expansion.
Although SDTekken reports it as "T6 not coming to PS3, T6BR is," that's not quite what IGN said, though heavily implied and likely nonetheless.

While more content is good news, I can't really get excited about it with still no release date in sight, personally. Oh well, good news for others, cheers.

As the Mishima Financial Group (MFG) waged war on the world, its illustrious corps, the Tekken Force, began its worldwide coup d’état; However, G Corporation’s rose up and opposed their forces, resulting in intense conflicts the world over.
The mastermind behind the coup d’état was none other than Lars Alexandersson.
Lars is a young charismatic Tekken Force officer with unmatched physical ability and intellect. Even after his promotion he continued to place himself in the thick of battle. His military prowess and openheartedness has made him popular among his subordinates.
He’s a decedent of Heihachi Mishima, and no one aside from him knows this fact. Not even Heihachi…
Alisa Bosconovitch
Nationality: Russian
Deep within a lush and thriving forest lies a heavily defended research facility. This facility was a research institute named after its director, Bosconovitch. This facility was very important, as it was here that the Mishima Financial Group’s most sensitive military equipment was developed.
Located at the core of the researcher center was a room that kept its most prized possession: a clear capsule, in which a young girl slept soundly. Her name: Alisa Bosconovitch.
