BJORK - VOLTA |

OK, so last year or the year or so I made a silly cut and paste edition of my video for "PULL OUT" with intro audio distorted from the orginial WILLY WONKA MOVIE from the 70's.
SO, i recut it with some movie footage and some DFA1979 pictures when they were on CONAN..
I don't know...hope you like it....was just messing around... I really like the audio mix..and was having fun it...let me know what you think...

Help a girl out.
If you fancy a pink, size medium DFA1979 tee then: clickety click.
(And okay maybe it isn't so "rare", but it adds a certain something to the listing if I call it so...).

Hi! Does anyone have a good picture of this DFA shirt motive? Don't assume it was official merch at any time, was it?

so my friend at a local record store came to me and said "dont you like these guys?". "Oh yes!" i replied. "Take this im sick of looking at it".....hes not a fan.....Anyways ive never seen it before anywhere. Its a blackout sleeve pretty much, signed by both members in gold. Its got a total of 6 tracks on it and on the actual record it says "for promotional use only". Not sure how many were made, prolly quite a bit since it was for promo but hey it was FREE!

Downloadable videos for "Romantic Rights" and "Black History Month"? I've been looking for them but I haven't found them. If anyone had it and could load it somewhere for download, you're my official hero.
Please and thank you.

After getting many "We don't get the joke" and "it was horrible" comments regarding my friend Sarah and I's music, mainly the DFA cover. This is what I have to say:
We are very aware of this.
The point of making that band was to play around with music and completley trash songs that we love. It's funny to us, and many of our friends...now if our friends are just playing along...That's totally cool. as long as their laughing at something, if it be the music or us, that's great!

So Sarah and I decided to cover Black History Month... And then after recording what I think is an amazing techno-remix of it, we realize we can't sing...at all.
But for some reason I really like the instrumentle version of it...a lot!
So you can listen to it here, and well you're there, add us! (if you have a myspace)
CLICK
oh and p.s. - incase you didn't know or couldn't tell, we are a joke band... I just don't want anyone thinking me and my friends are insane.
Now run along and tell us how much we suck!

I did a little soul searching some entries back, hoping to find the answer to a question that has probably been asked a thousand times, but alas, I searched in vain. Thanks in advance to all the cats and chicas who can help me out.
You see, I'm in the market for a stage worthy bass rig. I sing and play bass in a drum/bass/synth trio (original, i know) and I figure that since the bass takes the "lead" instrument role (original, i know!) it would be best to ask someone who knows a little somethin' somethin before diving in and buying something i'll regret.
What does Jesse Keeler play through, head, cab, and pedal wise? And what would you suggest for a young man that isn't too too out there price wise? I've just been playing through an old, beat up tube amp from the eighties and when the speakers finally blow out from all of the punishment, I'll be outta luck.
Oh, and I was thinking of maybe using a cheap head (a la behringer) through a nice cab (an ampeg 6 or 8x10) and masking everything with pedals. Good idea, bad?
My name is Michael, I joined barely five minutes ago, and this,
this is my first post. toodleoo
