You Got Served the Kiddy Meal

  









Ooookay. So in my adventures of looking for more movies to possibly pay for at the theater that aren't dance related, as fate would have it, I ran across this trailer for Battlefield America. Of course I knew it was going to be some kind of battle dance thing, but when I really began looking at the trailer looking at the little kiddies goin' hard, I was like "ooookay....?" That was at the same time I saw that this movie was created by the same writers and directors of You Got Served and then I wasn't so impressed. Despite how everything is trying to make it seem like You Got Served was such a great movie, it wasn't. At least to me it wasn't. I hope I don't step on any toes by saying that, but its just my opinion. But I will say that I love seeing how these kids who are half my age are doing complex hip hop choreo making it look so easy, Kudos to them. But I'm still skeptical; just because the dancing looks good that doesn't mean the plot or the acting is going to be any good and I like dance movies with substance, now just cool dance moves. But what do you guys think, does this look like something you'd see in the box office or are you just going to wait for the newest Step Up movie to come out (which I'm not really looking forward to)?
