Okay, NOW it adds up to 74 - I figured out the issue. Yaaaay!


So, we have a gi-NORMOUS batch of icons here from Harvest, and I am glad to note that there are maaaaany many characters represented. Except the one with no personality, but well - who cares, really? =P

I was incredibly frustrated with the lighting in the opening scenes of this episode. Yes, I know, it was supposed to be dark and spooky. However, it was TOO DARK to see half the action, and making icons for those scenes was really difficult. I wish I could teach the crew a thing or two about proper lighting.

Aaaaanyway.

Lots and lots of Charlie-faces, as always. Plus, as a show of diversity (and equal Eppes-ortunity), a few of stripping!Don, thinking!Don, and gunslinging!Don. Also, some frustrated!Larry, pretty!Megan, pensive!Alan, kickass!David, and muffin!Colby.
... Because I only recently realized that some Numb3rs fans actually like people other than Charlie! (Why, I cannot fathom, but 'tis true!)


Now you can all get excited for these new fun things (except those of you who don't like anyone but Amita, but... well, I don't like you if you don't like *anyone* but her! XD), and then have a party when I post them. Hopefully after homework tomorrow I'll have some time left to work on them and get them up either tomorrow night or Wednesday afternoon. :D



In all seriousness, I'm about a third of the way through, I just wanted to let you all know:
1. they're coming,
2. there are many characters, and
3. muffin!Colby makes me snort while giggling. ^.^

New stuffs for yous! ^_^ 42 new things, actually. Because 42 is the Ultimate Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything. :D

Okay, so... I *LOVED* Double Down. I think it has been my favorite episode yet (if not, definitely one of them). Card counting has always fascinated me - I fully intend to learn how to do it one day - and Larry's past is also exciting to discover. Larry grows on me a little more every day... he's so goofily cute, it's quite silly. Plus, the mentos-in-the-soda thing? I did a similar demo for third graders back in my AP Chem days, and we NEVER got it to shoot that high - nor did we wear raincoats - but it was still AWESOME. :D

ANYWAY! So, I have Double Down icons. There are a few from random other episodes too (I found a few caps I liked while perusing SDKG/numb3rs_recaps). Lots of Charlie, significant amounts of Larry. And maybe one with Don in it, I think? Heh.

I am really proud of the "focus" ones featuring Larry (one of which is featured in the preview)... I adore the way they came out, although I had to try about eight blur filters to get the background right. :D

I reeeeeally like the greenish light in the casinos, and all the glorious writing-equations-on-glass-with-fluorescent-marker scenes. They make much prettier backgrounds/overlays than the chalkboards! And you all know how I am with bright colors.

The theme this time is nerdy fun and games, because that was pretty much the entire mathy-subplot of Double Down. :D

Woooohooooo! As a "celebration" of the fact that I haven't slept in 23 hours now, I would like to share with you all a GIGANTIC batch of icons that make me giggle in my mentally exhausted state - perhaps they will have the same effect on a few of you even if you *are* slightly more awake.

I stumbled across this entry at numb3rs_recaps and found the screencaps just too darn funny. I'm not sure which eps all of these are from, but they are all season 1, and I think they are hilarious so... deal. =P


The theme this time around is the many strange faces of Don, Charlie, and Larry. Yep, you heard right - more than just Charlie! wooooo! *dances around* Aren't you excited about me broadening my horizons?!? Well, you should be...

geek: n. informal a person with an eccentric devotion to a particular interest.
... I would say that qualifies us pretty well, wouldn't you? :D


I toyed with the layout and came up with some greens that look pretty nice; if you think they're too bright or whatever, lemme know and I'll try to change them like... tomorrow night. I can also totally redo the layout if you like, my other idea was dark blues and golden yellows.


And, I would like to propose a rule: whatever we decide to qualify as geeky counts. TV shows, movies, general silliness... geekiness not limited just to math puns and social awkwardness. Although those are always awesome. (Math puns, anyway...)

Well... everything except The O.C. You can be as eccentrically devoted as is humanly possible (and then some) to The O.C. and I will still refuse to count it as "geeky". But that's just me. =P

And!! Avast, there be squiggles afoot! I fell in love with colorfilter's squiggles and dotted lines brushes, and they found their way into this batch of icons :D But never fear, squiggle-haters, the squiggle-free versions are up too... although I don't think they are as pretty :)
