I'm very much in love with this song at the moment :) also, I'm finally getting around to listening to all those new cds I bought over a month ago! Martha Wainwright's "I know you're married but I've got feelings too" is amazingly good, I liked it a whole lot more than I expected to.
I actually kind of had a weekend this week! I had friday and saturday off, very exciting. It would've been better if I actually had money :P I'm not kidding, there's $9 in my bank account. Sigh. But I did have korean barbecue with Amy. And then cooked bangers and mash for Scott on friday and drank too much wine. And then spent saturday at Nisa's house, drinking citrus vodka and talking about all manner of things. Caught the train and bus home at nine, despite still being a little tipsy. Oh well, I arrived home without incident and spent the rest of the night watching Friends on foxtel. 'Cause I'm cool.
Back to work today. And tomorrow, and tuesday as well. And then to uni on thursday, as semester is starting once again. I'm a little scared of my 50 credit units but oh well, I'll struggle through somehow.
Also, finally saw The Dark Knight on tuesday and oh my GOD, amazing. The Joker is possibly the greatest villain ever. And strangely hot. Definitely need to see it again..
In this verse I found a credit card with six hundred dollars on it, in the next I hired a car and drove away. If your world just tipped and spun around and flipped and flung us from it, I think we'd land in exactly the same way.

so i might work virgin fest this year, idk. last year's lineup was /so/ much better. smashing pumpkins, the beastie boys, modest fucking mouse and the POLICE. kanye's alright but common's better and the foo fighters get boring after a few songs... stone temple pilots might be alright but i'd rather have rage against the machine. maybe the lineup will get better and i will actually want to work it. we'll see.
david doesn't have internet at his house until next friday and he only calls once a day. ugh i am so bored.

In May, I planted a number of seeds in a couple of pots -- wildflowers and lettuce. None have done very well, and in fact only one pot managed to support some life. This morning, I tossed the contents of the non-thriving pot into the garbage. Though the soil was barren, with not a single green sprig to its name, I wonder if perhaps the seeds will sprout once they reach the landfill.
I think people should lace their garbage with seeds.

Well I am back in Northern Ireland and for once it isn't raining! It is shockingly sunny. I've been around the shops (there wasn't much to see) and I've arranged to meet people including Kerry tonight. But it does feel weird being back. There is definitely a big difference between here and Newcastle and it isn't just the accent.
My birthday was randomly cool, we went chasing Roman ruins and had a big dinner out with parents, Will and ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) shadowsaine. It was a really funny night out and the strawberry daiquris tasted great

day two; what you dont see is us 3 holding milk bottles and running frantically for our lives as a goat hopped out from the fenced area and the krazy go karting experience and a strawberry-less strawberry farm and yelling in the car to kylie as she sang "...for the first time i knew, we were meant to be as o-o-one" as we drove into orchid avenue, into promenade apartments.
day 3; we wanted to go to dreamworld but it wouldnt stop raining the entire day so we went to pacific fair where we met a woman who wanted to buy my mittens for AUD$50 (hehe geri it's THAT cool mittens! which is now ruined because we went to wash it in the machine sigh) and drove up to byron bay to catch the humpback whales BUT i think the rain deterred them from coming out to play so we soaked (literally) in the atmosphere and God's wonderful creation that left me speechless it was so pretty. my faithful 6 year old ntuc/fairprice umbrella also broke in the wind...
day 4: finally, some sun! we went to dream world, took many puke inducing rides and had a heart stopping evening when lydia's car battery died leading to a goose chase between sheeni and i and when we finally found each other again, we just gathered each other into a hug. very dramatic HAHA. we also visited the awesome beachfront night market x1000000 better than any flea please and got weird knick knacks <3.
now we're here in sydney, in elaine's huge apartment with no lift that she shares with 3 other friends. it's already past 12 but i'm not sleepy i'm having a sudden i miss home pang and i dont know how these students do it. i think the best part about any place is seeing a familiar face. wenhsin found sheeni and i today dragging our luggages down the stairs of Berala station and we had pizza together with elaine and pals. we're going to the bondi beach market tomorrow and i cannot wait to go to taronga zoo + blue mountains. why does traveling have to be so expensive though! :( anyway, family, i'm missing you guys mostest. :''''''''''''''''(

My sister and I went to see Dark Knight yesterday (with her friends. Who were kind of freaky. Well, my sister's girl (space :P) friend was nice, but my sister's girl friend's boyfriend (no space. XDDD) was kinda. Well. Scary :(

It was very very very very good. I recommend going to see it in theatres! :D (But with a friend. So that you can grab onto his/her arm and scream. :D
