I had a sweet craving the other evening, but didn't have anything I wanted (e.g. fruit tart) in the house, so I made icons instead, which arguably only made my craving worse! lol! I haven't used stock images a lot in the past, but I'm pleased with how this set came out. Hopefully I'll be a little more confident in moving away from my "icon comfort zone" in the future! A lot of people have requested icons of places like Paris, London, Italy and such, so perhaps I'll do a set of those next... We'll see. :)

![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) autumn_faerie recently requested Regina Spektor icons, which I think it quite funny considering I had been working on a set right before she requested that! :) I recently "rediscovered" Regina Spektor's lovely, unusual music and loved her "Fidelity" music video so much I had to make icons. Also did a handful of text-based icons using lyrics from her song "Us". I'm not sure how much I like those--the whole icon-with-no-image thing I need to work on, imho. lol!
Anyway, enough rambling... enjoy!

Wow--has it been over a month since I lasted posted?! *looks sheepish* I honestly did not forget about Blisse--the summer is just slipping away from me. Suddenly it has filled up with all manner of things, and all inclination to make icons seems to have fled. :p So this post is a smorgasboard of icons from the past month--I do hope you can find something to tempt you. ;) Enjoy!!

I've been reading a biography of Marie Antoinette lately (background research before I see Sophia Coppola's film on the ill-fated French monarch this fall!), so I've been in a total romantic/tragic mood lately. I found this editorial, which is very reminiscent of the 18th century. The finished icons are very minimalist, which I have an excuse for: I just got a new computer and haven't been able to transfer all my brushes and fancy-schmancy stuff yet!! *giggle* Besides 15 icons, there are also 2 friends only banners!! Enjoy!!! :)

I finally felt some small glimmer of inspiration to make icons today; although it did take me an insanely long time! :p These are very simple, focusing mainly on the cropping rather than text or any brushes. I'm really happy with the Greta Garbo set in particular; I've always had a hard time iconizing pictures of Garbo!

Hey, everyone!! Sorry for the lack of updates; I had some internet trouble recently that resulted in 2 weeks offline!! It really annoyed me because I had just uploaded some stuff to my image host, and had been meaning to post it. So here's a small set of Twiggy (the mod 1960s model) icons. Hopefully (lol!) they're worth the wait!
I hope everyone's summer is going well; for all you students I hope you're enjoying your breaks!! :)
