Well, I was leaning towards going to Ozzfest. BUT the only bands I'd really want to see are Black Sabbath and Velvet Revolver. So, do you think Black Sabbath might tour by themselves or are they only playing with Ozzfest?

you know that little meme that's going around where you have to guess the song and artist from certain lyrics? Well same thing. But they're all black sabbath. If you know the album aswell...then you're even cooler. I don't think they're particularly hard....

Hi people! Just created an account at LiveJournal and one of the first i tried to find is Black Sabbath community :) So, these are my answers to the survey for new members:

1. Name/age/where ya from? Kirill/18/Saint-Petersburg(Russia)
2. How did you get in to Black Sabbath? One of my old friends strongly recommended me listening to Black Sabbath several years ago..
3. What's your favorite song? It is really difficult to say but Iron Man really rocks :)
4. What's your favorite album? I like them all, but Paranoid is my favorite
5. Who's your favorite member and why? Ozzy because of his character and lifestyle
6. last but not least...is there anything else to make this community better? I like it as it is but it would be a real deal to get more people inside

I just got back from Munich and guess what? I was just walking around the town and i saw a huge black sabbath poster saying that the original sabbath is doing a show June 16th. crazy eh?

Well, i guess since this is my community..i can talk about whatever i want. :) I was listening to some of Ozzy's solo stuff and I really like a lot of it. What are your favorite songs by him? My current favorites are "no more tears" (especially the little solo), "i just want you", and i like "goodbye to romance" too (but i dont really like the bridge part very much)... I think I might've written about this earlier, but i guess i just wanted to try to wake this community back up. I've been sorta busy with finals and such. Soo yea. i'm back :)

I went to Barnes and Nobles on Friday and I saw this magazine with 20 or so pages of Black Sabbath stuff in it. I was pissed b/c I spent all my money already.

So i guess i'll go back later and get it..then i can scan pictures and such for this community :)

I was watching top 40 "least metal moments" on Vh1 and on number 30 something they were complaining about Ozzy doing those pepsi commerials and being on a sit-com. It doesn't really bother me that much..actually, i kinda thought those commercials were funny. But i guess i can see how the god of metal being on a sit-com could piss a bunch of people off. what do you guys think?

OK..so what's your favorite Ozzy story/rumor? There are bunches out there...I saw this one on vh1

"While on tour together, Ozzy and Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx stage a drunken competition to see who is the more outrageous. They both snort a huge line of cocaine. Ozzy decides that he wants more, but there is no coke left. Luckily, he espies a line of ants — so he snorts them. Then he urinates on the floor and proceeds to rehydrate himself by licking it up. Sixx attempts to follow suit, but Ozzy is licking up his urine as well."

oo i just got the best of ozzy osbourne cd...and usually I steer clear of "best ofs" b/c..well, i'd just rather an actual album..but this is a good one. I guess I didn't realize how much awesome solo stuff he's done. Most solo careers don't go so well for artists that were in bands..but his turned out pretty damn good. :)

How did you get in to Black Sabbath? I blame my dad...he played Iron Man for me about 4 years ago or so and I got suckered right in.
What's your favorite song? still partial to Iron Man, it's the whole nostalgia thing...though I'm incredibly fond of War Pigs.
What's your favorite album? Paranoid, though they all rock (obviously).
Who's your favorite member and why? Iommi. insane guitarist, revolutionized the sound of hard rock. gotta love Ozzy, though, just cause he's Ozzy. hell, ya gotta love 'em all.
