Last night. I went to the Cherry Monroe show, where between home and serenity where playing. BHAS where so amazing. They blew away all the other bands who played there. I witnessed amazing things like my friend Mick singing into Ian's mic. It was so incredibly awesome. Yeah. I took some pics with my cell phone so sorry for the resolution but here are some pics I took. And there is also two pics that mick took that had me and my friend becky with band members.

I saw BHAS tonight at mr. smalls theatre with cherry monroe. AMAZING. When they were loading up,I call Ian over and asked if they were playing 'to redefine' ( my favorite song ) and he said they were, so I was already excited. They opened with Words only Spoken, which everyone went crazy. I was singing as loud as I could, so he came over and gave me the mic so I got to sing a little. Then they played Fall, so I during that I joined in the little pit that was going on ( there wasn't too many kids there ) and once again I got the mic to scream into. So, every song I got the mic for a little bit to sing/scream in, a little moshing, regardless it was fucking incredable. They played: Words unspoken, fall, tranquility, almost only counts, a new song ( Kicked sooo much ass ) to redfine, drain out, until dawn, displacements secret crush, and bleeding night. It was fucking amazing. 2nd time I saw them.

OKAY.. BIG STORY AND EXCITEMENT!

SO, last night was the Between Home and Serenity show here in ~~wonderful~~ Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Sooo.. I went, and got there about an hour and a half late. It was okay, because BHAS was just setting up. So I take a seat RIGHT IN FRONT OF the stage, and I just sat there for a while. Then I stood up and my friends came back.. Some kids tried to get in front of me, but I wouldn't let them.

Let's just say BHAS were PHENOMENAL!!! Their entire set was great.. Though I don't remember much except for:

Tranquility
Drainout
Almost Only Counts
Fall
Bleeding Night

Anyways, I sang what I knew (seeing as I didn't own the CD until last night), and rocked out to every song, because I fucking love these guys.. Why not?

So when I was singing, Mike would get in front of me, and smile while I was singing and dancing. It was great.

Everyone looked at me REALLY FUCKING WEIRD.

Someone gets this bright idea to start HXC dancing during "Fall." It was bad, because I fell over and knocked over Mike's mic.

So, at the end of their set, I went up on stage and told Ian hi and that he did a good job. He said hi and thanked me for coming out.

Then Anthony came over and started packing in front of me, and I was like "You did a really good job."
Anthony: "I saw you rocking out over here. Thank you, so much." *shakes my hand*
Me: "I sang what I knew.. Sorry I couldn't sing it all."

And his eyes popped out of his head..

Anthony: "YOU'VE HEARD OF US?!?!?!"
Me: "Yeah."
Anthony: "From where?"
Me: "Purevolume. I saw that you guys were playing, and I was like 'OH MY GOD, I HAVE TO GO SEE THEM!'"
Anthony: "Holy shit.. Well, thanks so much for coming out!" *Shakes my hand, and pulls me into a hug*

I went outside for a while, and whenever I walked back in, and Mike saw me, he would wink at me. It was just great.

So I went and bought a BHAS shirt and the CD, which I got a free sticker with! It now has a very nice little home on the back of my car.

So Adam walks by me, and I tapped him, and I'm like "Hey.. You guys did great." And he's like "Thanks." *Smile and walks away*

So Mike walks by me, and I kind of pulled his arm, and he turned around with this HUGE smile on his face, and I was like "You guys did great, tonight."

Mike: "Thanks, Hun.. Come here and give me a hug."
We hug.
"I saw you rocking out and singing along. It made me really happy."
Me: "Haha.. Yeah.. I would listen to you guys every day during the summer on Purevolume, and I saw that you guys were coming, so I was like 'OH MY GOD, I HAVE TO SEE THEM!"
Mike: *Laughs* "Did you buy the CD?"
Me: "I just did."
Mike: "Oh, okay, good."
So we stand there for a while.
Mike: "Well.. This is our first tour, and we're working on getting to a bigger venue than this one with the same intimacy, almost..."
Me: "Well.. Good luck, I'm sure you guys will do it with no problem."
Mike: "Thank you, so much." *Gives me another hug* "I'll see you around, okay?"

So after the band after them, I left. My friend stayed and ended up playing video games with them in their van.. I have mad jealousy issues.. And I was like "YOU SHOULD'VE CALLED ME SO I'D COME BACK!" But my mom was a bit mad at me, so it didn't matter.. But my mom was happy for me, and such.

Anyways... I had SO much fun, and I can't wait to see them, again.
