Welcome to _beautyicontest! Challenges here will be very diverse, as beauty has so many ways to be expressed.

*Rudeness will not be tolerated, period. If you have nothing nice or constructive to say, keep it to yourself or WE WILL ban you. You don't have to like someone's work, but you also don't have to tell them.

*All icons must be made solely for each contest, the only exception being altering a simple base you already made; as in a picture you did NOTHING to but crop.

*You cannot post your icons ANYWHERE until a challenge ends or you will be disqualified.

*You may submit up to two icons per challenge unless otherwise noted. You may submit just one, but no more than two.

*NO animations. Any other effects are fine. (Occasionally, a mod may allow animation for one specific challenge. However, this will be noted in that specific challenge.)

*New challenges will go up on SUNDAYS and end on SATURDAYS. Voting will usually go up SATURDAY night/SUNDAY and last for at least 24 hours. Winners will be announced shortly after. Note: If something is late, unless very late, please don't message us. We all have lives that don't revolve around this community. We will try to keep things on schedule, but sometimes things happen.

*Post all entries in both picture and URL form, as such:

*Do not post entries anywhere but on the challenge post. Automatic screening is on, so do not screen your own.

*No icons that exceed 100x100 pixels or 40kb.

*If, after the end of a contest, you wish to use someone's icon, you must ask permission. If you are found stealing work, you will be banned.

*Voting is not yet set in stone. Until we get a solid member base, it will depend on how many entries we get per week.

*Do not vote for your own icon or get others to vote for you. This could result in your banishment.

*One of us will do banners UPON REQUEST ONLY. If you don't ask, it will not be done automatically.

We would very much appreciate it if you linked to us in your journal/info or anywhere else on LJ. You may do so any way you wish, but to use the below banners.(remove the stars or save and upload)
