[13 Jul 2008|12:57pm] Hey guys, I need your help. I'm going to Rome in august with my gf (and we'll stay there 1 week). I've never been and neither has she. We know most of the typical tourist attractions like the Pantheon, Vatican city, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Forum Romanum etc.. But: -> What are the things we definitely have to visit? -> What are the less known attractions that are worth our money/time -> Are there any great guided tours? Mostly I don't like those tours, but I guess with some background-information it would be easier to appreciate everything. -> Do you know any nice bars, restaurants? -> General tips considering Rome?
