I got a feeling this might get deleted soon. Probably not from the mods but from the snarky comments that will eventually be made.

She writes errr I figure it may be ok, cause It's a boston author being published

She left off a crucial word there, and that is self. ..Author being self published.

It doesn't take any great writing skill to publish your own shit. Do you think LuLu discriminates against who is going to pay them to published their books and then take a percent of whatever actually gets sold?

I could fucking publish my redrum writings over and over again and get that published.

	I noticed that. I mean, she has every right to feel proud of herself that her work is now published in a book, but yeah, anyone can get a Lulu book published. I can understand how it would feel good though. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	She doesn't really have every right to be proud of herself for self-publishing. You could self-publish a book that only contains the same word wrote over and over again, that doens't make you skilled or literary. (Reply to this) (Parent)

It was a self published angsty teen-girl with borderline personality disorder 92 page book of "poems".

Such gems like (and I'm making this up):

I lie in bed thinking of you
thinking of the words you said
thinking of the pain you caused
wishing things could have changed
pain, overwhelming pain, deep within
pain that cuts, pain that only ends by cutting...

In fact, this might be more poetic than one of the actual poems.

	Yes, but only after you edit it to bring the vocabulary down to her level. This is not only more parodic and thus funnier, but it ensures she can understand you.
