Howdy all, the name's Natasha and I thought I'd just say hello.
Been a huge fan of All About Eve all my life, and I'm only 17. I grew up listening to good music, thanks to my parents :D
Methinks my favourite AAE song is Strange Way, but tis a very close call.

Dear Everyone
I have just been promoted to co-maintainer of this community.
There's not a lot to say at the minute because, as usual, the remains of All About Eve don't know what they are up to.
YES, there will be a long-awaited-to-the-point-of-giving-up-hope album, and it will possibly see the light of day at some point late in the year (2006).
I'd say 'watch this space' but your eyes might glaze over.
But I will drop a note here as and when anything happens.

Hello, I just joined this community because I absolutely *love* AAE <3 So I thought intoduce myself :)
My name is Amy and I'm from Nottingham, UK, and I'm 19 years old.
My favourite AAE songs are Martha's Harbour, Road to Your Soul and Share It With Me ^.^ But I love them all really, lol.
Julianne's voice is just too beautiful.
Anyway, that's probably enough from me for now...

Dropped into a coupld of the shows at Cambridge and Nottingham .. good shows .. but both times they played Severina jsut sooooooooooo needed Julianne's harmonies to kick in and just take it to thast other place!

Dear all,
Liz and Andrew from Swarf will be interviewed LIVE on BBC Southern Counties Radio this Sunday 14th August at 7.20pm.
This is because we won a competition with a panel of music industry bods.
They will be playing some of our tunes and also telling us what these judges thought of our music, including Skint, who liked us rather a lot, apparently.
So, if you can, tune in to 104-104.8fm or 95-95.3fm at 7.20pm on Sunday 14th August and you can hear what they put us through!

My partner and I met at after a All ABout Eve gig i went to three years ago but we have different dates in our heads!
So did All About Eve play the Union Chapel on the 08th Dec 2001 or the 15th December 2001. (I know it was a Saturday cos I went to Slimes after) Its all right we found it!

One of the Radio 1 DJs suggested that in honour of John Peel, everyone should endeavour to observe one minute's noise at midday tomorrow.
I think this is a tremendous idea and if you think so too, please feel free to copy and post this to your journal and spread a little respectful mayhem.
My neighbours will be treated to an extract of 'Interferance' by Cubanate at noon tomorrow...

"I cannot believe this has happened but I have found out today that Ben
our drummer has badly injured his back carrying a flight-cased bass
speaker cabinet down a flight of stairs. It happened late last night.
(He is in other bands and not just AAE)
He can not move and so he can not drum. This is all I know. He has had
back injury before and he knows that there is no way he will be able
to do the dates. He has been visited by the doctor / chiropractor
today and they agree.
We have tried very hard to find a replacement at short notice. We have
tried an ex drummer (Robin Guy) and he is too busy working with
another band.
The fact that there is only two days before we fly means that we can
not fulfil our obligations. More than this, it is a heartbreaking
situation as I have personally been looking forward to this immensely.
As for the Cure date, I can only apologise very sincerely and will not
be surprised if we are never asked to support them again.
As for the other German dates ...We would DEFINITELY like to
re-schedule them with those venues if that is possible.
This is just the worst thing (other than of course dying in an air
crash!) that could happen.
I still can't believe it. And our single is released in Germany today
also.

Have things started to go quiet on here?
OK, to raise a (maybe) lively bit of conversation, here's my challenge (well it's not, really).
Thinking back over all the albums, etc, that All About Eve have released over the years, what's your favourite portion of lyrics and from which track do they hail?
With me it has to be: "We only dare to say please love me/at the second glass of wine" from Flowers In Our Hair (but that's only because I'm a soppy romantic bugger!).
So c'mon, keep the ball rolling, someone!
