if you're not aware, a second series of Saxondale starring the legendary Steve Coogan starts tomorrow (that's Thursday) on BBC2 at 9.30pm.

Won't be watching it myself as I'm now departing for the Reading festival, but DVRs have been set.

According to my 'sources' Simon "Michael" Greenall has a cameo in one episode of this series :)

Does anyone have/know where I can find the Return of the Saint theme Alan does some truly magnificent steering wheel drumming to? It makes me laugh so much, I'd like to put it on my iPod. I've been delivering a training course at work today and yesterday. One of the guys on the course has been eating Fantales - a caramel-ish sweet which is wrapped in paper on which useless trivia has been printed.

At one point today he interrupted me with a 'fact' he'd gleaned from one of his Fantales wrappers. He said "did you know, although Clint Eastwood made his name in cowboy movies, he's actually allergic to horses?"

I *really* wish this guy's name was Alan.

I thought the last show was brilliant! The Cilla black autopsy, and the stuff about terrorism was really good.
